10/10 Excellent
"After a bad night tenting on the side of the highway on our North Island motorcycle trip. I needed a bed. Found this room in Sayward. Was kinda rough looking as it is under a renovation. The room was brand new and clean. Was a pleasant surprise. A hot shower after two days on the bike was great. The view of the estuary was amazing woke up to about 20 Elk grazing in the estuary. The had a fire pit out back overlooking the estuary. Sat outback till 11 around the fire. It was very rustic no tv but again was new and extremely clean my main concern. We are planning a two night trip later this year and will definitely be booking two nights again. Please note it’s very rustic and remote with very little amenities. With that being said I wouldn’t change any of the stay. I was exactly what we needed and wanted. Was only 100$ per night. If you’re looking for a very casual place to stay for cheap this is it."
