As far as cleanliness goes it could’ve been way better, rubbish bins full from last guest,no rubbish bags, stained pillows, dirty cutlery that we had to wash before using as it was all greasy. Location 10/10 close to shops and 10min from Mandurah. Car didn’t fit in the garage ( Ford Ranger ) so parked on the street, no big deal only when it rained.

It’s a nice boutique hotel but one of the first things I noticed was that they provided ear plugs in the room which is not a good sign. It turns out they were definitely needed. The pub and bars across the street were very noisy with loud music. I slept very little.

"The reception staff were kind and very helpful. The room was spacious, very neat and clean. The location was close to shops which was good. Definitely recommend the Great Southern Hotel!"
