A peaceful haven in the middle of the madness that is ‘Electric Avenue’. We have spent several weeks travelling around Japan and this rates exceptionally well in our eyes. We highly recommend, one night, here!

We love staying at the New Otani Hotel. It is elegant and relaxing. The large Sogetsu ikebana arrangement is a great way to welcome guests and there are beautiful floral arrangements throughout the hotel. The Hinoki bath in our room was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed our view of the traditional garden while having breakfast. The view from the Garden Tower restaurant on the 40th floor was spectacular. The staff was highly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We intend to stay there again during future visits to Tokyo.

Most excellent stay with impeccable hospitality. The hotel master provided us with superb dinner each day (even though I did not reserve dinner for the first night). Super worth the stay to explore kamikochi really early the next morning.
