Enjoying our Savannah stay!

We are history fanatics and Savannah has been on our list for a long time. Enjoyed every minute but the very cold temps especially at night were a surprise (and we are from Michigan!!). We would like to return some day God willing!

Lovely historic home

Our accommodations were ideally located in the historic district close to the action without being in the middle of the action! It truly felt like a home away from home, just be aware there is a flight of stairs for the parlor. this portion of the home(parlor)

Amazing!

Beautiful property on one of the nicest streets in Savannah. Walking distance to almost everything of note in the historic district. Place was clean and had everything we could need to enjoy our stay.

Perfect in every way!

This property is everything it claims and more! The location is perfect and walking distance from everything. The decor, displayed history, spacious living area and side porch is a dream. Steps to the entry door can be difficult if that is a challenge for you, but is the only thing we saw that could be problematic for some. Don't hesitate to rent this space!

Perfect Spot

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The decor is elegant and cozy at the same time. The location was close enough to walk to everything. I can’t imagine experiencing Savannah any other way. A hotel could never have the same charm.

Magical Savannah Experience

All of the photos are accurate, and we had exclusive use of all of the rooms and a nice balcony overlooking West Jones Street, one of the most picturesque tree-lined streets in Savannah. AC worked well, and there were several coffee options offered. Location can't be beaten, and there were many nice touches, such as a wonderful drink serving area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful Jones Street

WOW, loved this apartment. The place is very traditional, kitchen is fine although we did not cook at all because too many great restaurants. I loved the quirkiness of the apartment, fridge is in a hallway, sunroom with only a coffee bar in it, it made you think of how it was used in its heyday. Would love to rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was as described: beautiful and in a great place in town. We arrived and a snowstorm arrived with freezing temperatures at night. We asked for a space heater and rug for the bathroom floor. the response was fast and the issue was resolved quickly. The AC/Heat did not work well but it wasn't an issue for us but it should be addressed for the warmer weather.

Fit for a Queen

This property gives you the feel of being in Savannah as soon as you walk through the door. Beautifully and tastefully decorated yet cozy, comfortable seating as well. Close enough to walk to all of the Savannah highlights. Management was readily there to answer questions and assist if needed. Five plus STARS. Thank you.

Fantastic!!

Absolutely loved it! These prior poor reviews are just nit picky nonsensical. This place was fantastic and absolutely amazing for the price!! SUPER clean, super comfy, beautifully furnished!! And a post card worthy neighborhood! Saved a ton of money this place is centrally located & we were able to walk everywhere and saved so much parking $$ and hassles. Plus the off atreet parkimg you dont have to worry about damage to your vehicle. Only one minor request, a t.v. in the bedroom would be nice (typical gen X) too quiet to fall asleep. Definitely a visit again & make a yearly visit. Worth every cent, best vacation we've had yet. Thank you!

Beautiful and Spacious!

First off, Jones Street is full of beautiful homes and lovely architecture. This home fits right in. Home was very clean, spacious and filled with beautiful furniture. The pictures are accurate. You must use the back stairs instead of the front door, but that didn’t really bother us. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered private front porch and people watching. Only thing that was a little odd is that there is a semi-frosted set of doors that look out onto the foyer which is used by the 2 upstairs units and their guests. These doors are directly across from the bathroom, so you need to be dressed when exiting the bath or walking through to the kitchen. But, we really did not have any problems and would definitely stay here again. Communication with the property manager was good.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay immensely! It is a lovely location and property. It felt like we were transported to the South! The bed and bedding was great and the street was amazingly beautiful. A couple of easy things I would recommend would be to have nightstands on both sides of the bed, we propped up some pillows to make a faux nightstand but would have loved to have phone plug-ins and a place for glasses handy, especially after driving all day, the last thing we wanted to do was crawl on the floor to find an outlet. The other thing would be to have directions for the Ninja coffee pot, I was so looking forward to the "coffee bar" and was sad that I had to google directions and go out and buy creamer & coffee first thing. Those 2 things would have taken it to an A . The front walkway into the property could use a good scrub, but I understand it is off-season :). Really appreciated that they were able to move our trip by a day as well! Very good experience over all

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Savannah and 121 W Jones is an excellence location. Overall we find the Parlor nicely decorated and a pleasant atmosphere. There are a few issues that should be addressed and they seem to linger from our previous stays: 1. It is extremely annoying that we are not allowed to enter the parlor by the front door. The explanation we were given is not logical. I was able to find replacement parts for the locks on-line. They are not original. The locks have worked fine in the past. 2. The shower water temperature lacks adjustment. We had to request assistance and the solution was at best temporary. 3. The kitchen facet needs to be replaced; it works on spray only and not well at that. 4. The bathroom sink stopper needs to be repaired - minor repair. Our request for assistance with the shower was promptly addressed on Monday morning. With the above exceptions we had a very nice stay and look forward to staying again.

As professional and successful travelers, this home has great potential to be the best and elegant accommodation in Savannah. Jones Street is considered the one of the most beautiful streets in America. This home must improve its exterior appearance at the front entrance starting with the removal of the horrible bright LED porch lamp bulbs, same with hallway, it looks cheap and holds no class as the other home on the street. The rear entrance area needs the utility box painted over the graffiti. The back entrance patio furniture needs to be removed, it has seen better days. The sunroom off the kitchen needs a high-top table with two chairs or a long bench so it can be utilized for morning coffee. Remove the old metal trash can from the corner of the floor. The front/side outdoor patio needs total cleaning after every guest, and replacement of furniture is also needed, this should not be a storage area. All windows must be cleaned including glass patio doors. Shower head must be replaced with a new one, bathroom towel rack needs to be tighten, bathroom blinds must be replaced with new not velcro-ed together for the damaged blind. The BOSE speaker must be moved to the TV room, serves no purpose in the living room. The sofa needs to be cleaned. All those terrible harsh white LED bulbs in the chandeliers in Dining, Living and Bedroom must be replaced with incandescent bulbs. Return the true ambience and class to this home, please. We truly want to make this home our permanent short-term escape. It is indeed one of the most elegant in Savannah, let's give it the pride and honor it deserves. We are willing to pay the nightly cost and all the fees including Cleaning but all costs must be justified with the highest value for price paid. This property like most nightly rental properties needs a experienced, 4 Star, hospitality educated property manager to actually walk all properties on a weekly basis.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have rented a few times from Cora Bett Thomas for locations on Jones Street. This unit did not disappoint! By far the 2 best features at this location was the side porch facing Jones Street and a parking spot was provided. We spent many hours on the porch. And the convenience of having dedicated parking was invaluable! The unit was very clean and kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. I will mention some negatives (minor): The sofa/sectional on the backporch entry needs to be removed...broken tables and in complete disrepair. Quite the eye sore. Not the first thing you want to see when you arrive. The can opener in the kitchen does not work and needs to be upgraded. There should be something in the shower to place shampoo/cond/soap, etc. Right now it has to be placed on the floor. The curtains throughout the unit need some TLC. The good far outshines these suggestions. Will stay again for sure!

For us, this vacation rental with luxury accommodations and reserved parking was in the best overall location to downtown Savannah and all it has to offer. We found the home clean and in reasonably good shape which really allowed us to relax and enjoy its brand of southern charm. From our only contact, we found the vacation rental management staff extremely helpful and patient upon our arrival and in need of additional directions to the property. I would surely consider this property and location upon my next visit to Savannah.
