Great location, would definitely return!

The check in and check out process was very easy. It's the perfect place to stay in Savannah, with lots of charm. Everything was clean, no issues with anything while I was there. Great spot to stay close to River and Bay Streets, but far enough away to escape the crowds and noise. Will definitely return in the future!

Great Location

Great location, a block away from restaurants and shops. Short walk to anywhere in the historic district. Clean, comfortable accomodations with well appointed kitchen and spacious living and dining. Parking is a big plus. Definitely would stay again

A lovely choice!

What a lovely apartment! The location is amazing, just a two minute walk towards the river front and five-ten minutes to the bars and restaurants in the center of the city. The apartment was perfect. Great water pressure for the shower and all was as pictured on the website. I had called the company to ask if I could check out later and, despite the fact I couldn’t as there was a quick turnaround for another guest, the person I spoke to was lovely. I felt she did all she could to help. There is also a beautiful square right across the street. It was quiet and pleasant for walking or sitting and reading. Highly recommended on all counts

Old, but clean and cozy

Great stay at the property. Everything communicated accurately well ahead of arrival. As mentioned, building is old, but very cozy and with lots of charm. Nice home away from home for a few days. We were there for 3 nights and chose to eat meals out. Everything is there in the home to stay in if you choose, too. Linens, towels, toiletries are all there. Wif-fi and TV if you want to watch. Nice outdoor space as well. Would definitely return to this property on a future visit to Savannah. Right on tour bus line too!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. It is close to just about everything so we could walk to all of our activities. Parking is a little tight for a full size truck so keep that in mind. Also, this is apparently a residence to the owner (?) upstairs so you can pretty much hear their noise upstairs for instance walking, talking, laughing etc. If you like it super quiet this may be a problem or if you have pets like we do it kept them on alert until they got use to the voices etc. Supplied very well too!!

Couple getaway

The location was perfect! Just minutes from Leopold's ice cream shop. The place was adorable and very clean. My only concern is the furniture was very uncomfortable. The pull-out sofa bed was very old and had metal rods protruding. The queen-sized bed was very uncomfortable. Also to note, the owner does live on the property upstairs. The stairs are blocked off but we didn't feel as if we had privacy. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well on the trip. We didn't let this hinder the trip and still enjoyed how we could.

Beautiful & Quaint

My husband and I enjoyed our stay the accommodation were nice. The only suggestions would be a full size ironing board and to check the water temp for shower, it was not warm water, a bit cold. We loved the decor and the flooring was unique. Some cobblestone near the gate are a trip hazard...I would recommend this location to family and friends.

Savannah basement apartment

Really nice place. Great location. Parking was a big plus! You can walk to everything. The staircase was a little unsettling. It was locked on our side but we were concerned about someone coming in from the apartment above. No one did, no one bothered us. Would stay here again and not worry about the staircase.

It was easy to find, kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy! It is also located within apex 3 blocks of the gorgeous Savannah Riverwalk. Close to everything!

Loved the apartment and the location!

This is a great apartment and loved the layout! Very spacious and clean. It had everything one would need. It is in a great location! There is a small lovely, quiet square across the street from the front of the apartment. The designated parking spot was great and right out the back door and through the cute little private courtyard. The apartment is just around the corner from Broughton Street which is great for restaurants and shopping and a short walk to River Street which also has lots of restaurants and shopping. The rental company was great to communicate with. They were immediate in response to a question that I had. I was visiting my niece who goes to SCAD and I will definitely stay here again when I go back to see her! Savannah is a lovely city with much to see and do.

Love the location

We loved the location of this property. It was perfect for my spouse and I and our small pups to get around town and enjoy everything Savannah has to offer. We did have quite a few issues with the property itself which we brought up to the property manager at the conclusion of our stay and we were not pleased with how they handled it. The property was not cleaned prior to our visit (soiled rugs - soiled towels - broken blinds- mold in the washer and dryer- faulty door lock - broken dining chair and a lamp plugged in without any bulbs) . We were charged a pretty hefty cleaning fee as well as other fees for booking this property and when we spoke to the property manager about them instead of apologizing and asking how he could resolve the issue he asked if I had ‘photographical evidence’ then ghosted us and we have never heard back from him which was extremely unprofessional.

Delightful Carriage House-Great Location

The carriage house was even better than the pictures online! Comfy bed, hot water in the shower, nice kitchen, and pet friendly! We couldn't have picked a better place. I've stayed in Savannah a dozen times and I think this was my favorite stay! Warren Square is right out front and Washinton Square is a block away. Both perfect for morning walks around the bordering Colonial district. There is a great place for breakfast just behind you on Broughton. We ate at the Funky Brunch Cafe each morning. We were able to walk in any direction to encounter beauty and all the main sites. River street is 2 blocks away, the Pink House, 17 Hundred 90, Kehoe House, Pirate House and so much more are steps away. The carriage house has a nice patio out back. You get your own parking spot! We were very happy with our stay. The only minor issue we had was getting in the back gate upon arrival. The gate itself is a little wonky and needs replaced. Otherwise, it was perfect for us. It is also close to a parking deck, which didn't bother us, but was kind of an eyesore. We would stay again, though!

Charming and great location

First let me say, this is a quaint place to stay with great location to River Street and E. Broughton Street. Nothing I list below would stop me from staying again. Besides the location, parking and access was great. Bedroom was great and contrary to past reviews, the mattress was comfortable. Water in shower is fine if you just figure out the turns. Some items that I have to note that I feel need immediate attention: We booked due to the sofa bed available however the mattress should be replaced immediately! Not only is it the worst I’ve seen, it has a spring poking out. My adult daughter had to sleep on the regular, short couch and we had to put a billow under the cushions for support. The unit needs more covers/blankets. Read the agreement closely, the TV is a Smart/App WI-FI ONLY, my 75 yr old mother had so much trouble with it, thank goodness my daughter had Amazon but the Wi-Fi kept dropping. The patio area was nice to have but it needs cleaning up and chairs had no cushions so not comfortable. Lastly, the front entrance had trash collected in the stair area, cleaners should keep this clean, also, never seen a light out there at night. Again, these would not hinder me from recommending or staying here again.

We selected this place for the proximity to River Street, and because it offered off-Street parking. We were also looking for a pet-friendly unit, since we wanted to bring our pup with us. The unit was just what we needed for our stay. We would definitely choose this unit again for a future visit. The only reason I didn't give all 5-stars is due to the condition of the back brick pavers courtyard. The bricks could be hazardous for someone with mobility challenges, but for us it would not affect our choice to return.

Great convenient Location!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is all about location, location, location and it comes with a parking spot which is huge!! It is about a 6 - 8 minute walk to the waterfront with restaurants and shops. The location is what makes this rental worth it. However, some things to note: When you walk in the front door you immediately see a staircase with a baby gate across. The staircase leads up to the apartment above and they have an access door to your unit. This was very creepy. I contacted the mgmt co & was assured this unit has total privacy & the folks upstairs never use that door or staircase. And yes, we had total privacy. The unit is very nice and spacious. Off the kitchen was a courtyard which we loved. The kitchen was well equipped but there were no dish towels so I used a towel from the bathroom. The kitchen table was fine but the chairs around the table need to be fixed or replaced. Out of the 4 chairs, 2 were fine to sit on. One of the chairs had broken slats & the other chair had a nail sticking up out of the cushion which we sat on!! I left a note on the chair and marked where the nail was. The bedroom was quite spacious but they need to fix the bedframe. It is the squeakiest bed we have ever slept on. Every time you turn or move, the bed squeaks. All night long you hear this!! We tried to adjust the frame ourself but it still squeaked. So, If you are looking for location and a parking spot, which we were, this is great. If these other issues were would be so much better.
