"Clean resort! Amazing plus that the boat takes you to flamingo island for free. We spent almost every day there even if it was only for an hour.. just because we could!! Definitely recommend to explore other beaches as well. Casino there is super small but great! Live dealers. Shopping is amazing here as well. Would skip the restaurant that is in the lobby. Our friends tried it twice (gave it another chance) and they did not like it at all. Steakhouse on site is very well known but we didn’t try it, it also looked dead most nights we were there. Would recommend trying local restaurants walking distance from resorts. Bars and pool area on resort are amazing! Staff is great, 10/10 stars and would stay here again/recommend. Also a bunch of stores/restaurants walking distance. Night life is an 11 minute taxi ride."

"Wide variety of options for breakfast, including fresh fruits and made to order eggs and omelets. We stayed in Room 1411, which is beachfront. Perfect view of sunsets every night. So great to be steps from the ocean. Planning our trip for next year already. Also jewelry gift shop was so surprisingly affordable. "

"Breakfast was great. Rooms in Seaview Tower in desperate need of updating. Shower very small and floor slippery. No handle bars. Not one single amenity in room! Housekeeping was very good. The outdoor surroundings are nice but need more shading. Casino has changed to 99% slots. However, I believe not owned by the Holliday Inn. All restaurants are overpriced with small portions and so-so; however many dining options right outside. Check in … always a long wait!"

"Our stay at Eagle Resort was really nice. We have 2 boys- 14 & 16 and the property is very family friendly. My teens were perhaps looking for a bit more action but I was ok with the quieter resort. The cleanliness of this property was exceptional. Every patio and pool was scrubbed daily - staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.Food on site was good, which was an extra bonus as well as happy hour specials. My only minor complaint is that the lobby is quite outdated and does not reflect the calibre of the overall resort. A refresh is in order. Another point is that double beds ( we had 2 in our one bedroom- 2 bedroom suites were sold out) are small for 2 people and the pullout needed a new mattress. But the convince of a full fridge and kitchen facilities was fantastic. I would recommend this property without hesitation. Especially to anyone older or those with younger children. It’s perfect. "The pool was refreshing and the activities were fun , the buffet was really good a lot of different choices and fresh fruits . The employees were very friendly and helpful I really loved staying at the Riu in Aruba , this was my first time in Aruba staying at the Riu palace I stayed for 9 days , I did 4 excursions I had the time of my life . Can't wait to come back . Just bring sunscreen "

"Word for the wise! If you pay for the “huts” on the beach for your entire stay, make sure you claim them daily between 7-9am or they are forfeited and given to other guests. You are not charged but you don’t have your hut. Many guests were upset as that is the reason you rent them so as not having to rush down in the morning. "
