Great place for the price.
The cabin was a great size and secluded for the most part. Loved the porch and hot tub. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The showers needed to be updated. Overall it was a nice place for the price.
Great to get away with family. Porch was fabulous and hot tub a treat! Hot tub very clean. A sweet little tree house.

Cozy and secluded
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here! It was great! The cabin is a little difficult to find at first but it is a nice secluded property well worth the price! We loved it and are already planning to come back for an anniversary some day!

Our Anniversary
It could use a little maintenance but overall it was very nice and relaxing and would definitely go back.
All went well. There was no pool table like the listing showed so that was disappointing. Driveway was steep so keep that in mind. We saw a bear not far from the driveway going out so that was nice.

1st Mountain getaway
The place was so spacious and included most kitchen amenities that you need!
Comfy seating and bed! Instructions for the hot tub would be a plus. Would come back again! Michael
The cabin was very nice and in convenient location. Check in and check out process was seamless. It's a nice cabin with great potential however it needs deep cleaning and update. I would say it's more for 2 people than for 4 as the bed in the leaving room it's very small, old and not comfortable. The hot tub and screened patio was a great idea!

Birthday Weekend
Had a nice low key birthday weekend for my husband. We enjoyed the fireplace (cold and rainy weekend). The hot tub was great in the evening while grilling out. Would definitely stay again. Some of the reviews said the driveway was bad but we had no problem getting in and out with our vehicle. Also, the t.v connection was never an issue even during heavy rain and wind.

Cabin in woods
Very private but driveway rough. If I didn’t have 4 wheel drive not sure I would have got to the house. Nice place hot tub worked well but did have to reset it. Turn off at fuse box and back on works great then. They did let us do early check in which was great. No complaints about the accommodations. Bed was very comfortable.
Cabin is small but it was all we needed. The drive in is a bit steep our 2 wheel drive truck barely made it up the hill. Cabin is located in a good loacation. 15 mins from Helen. The cons: - bathroom doors do not shut or lock. - black mold noticed in " master " bathroom. - fireplace flue is broken and stuck open.

Solid Spot
DONT USE GOOGLE TO GET HERE. Quiet, clean, classic get away. Recommend sharper knives and if you like fluffy pillows bring your own. Dont let that discourage you. Communication was solid. Late checkout a must.

Great location but Cabin is rapidly declining
Between mold, bugs, and exposure of the crawl space, this property is declining.
Not a bad visit, just poor property management from our perspective.
In a high note, the location was excellent and the seclusion was just what we needed. Clean up a few things and the responses will be much better.
Getting to the property was a little with driveway but once there was a blast. About 20mins for downtown Helen a little bit more of a drive than we originally thought. The scenery on the back pouch would beautiful if a few of the taller trees were cut down a little (really blocks the view of the mountains across from it). Had great amenities like internet, kitchen, and a smart TV.

The hideaway
Wasn't hard to find with Google maps and directions given. The view was beautiful and it's the perfect place if you want seclusion. I read some reviews about hearing neighbors, we did not. It is a little bit of a drive to things around but we enjoyed that as it is a breathtaking area. Hot tub, TV, and wifi worked great! We had an issue with one electricity outage but this wonderful woman, Gina, on the local Vacasa team was on it for us and it was fixed very quickly.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, communication
This stay was a nightmare.
So, for starters I will say the main part of the cabin itself was pretty clean, decent.
The main issues we had in the cleanliness department was- there’s a rat(s) living in the spare room. We seen at least 1 mouse on 4 different occasions. There were rat turds in the closet in the spare blankets, on the closet floor, & in the pots/pans in the cupboard! Secondly, there is large amounts of mold in the main room’s bathroom. The hot tub water is DISGUISING & has an awful smell. You can tell they don’t add any kind of spa chemicals to routinely clean it.
We reported these issues to Vacasa- they did nothing to make this better or compensate us.
Another main issue we had was the communication with Vacasa- it was HORRIBLE. From taking hours to respond through chat messages, not having any solutions to anything when calling, promising we’d receive calls back & never did- it was awful.
The only person that was any help was Lisa the property manager! Thankfully local county services gave us her number!
We were snowed in- Vacasa said the would “bring us a snow shovel” - never did. They kept giving us the run around about if we could stay another night due to physically not being able to leave due to the private road being iced over. Local authorities could not provide help due to this being a private road & Vasasa was ZERO help. Because we were snowed in we had to cook at the cabin- one of the pots had literal rat droppings in it. I would add more -
barebones, holiday inn prices and below a motel 6 place
pictures are so outdated, no where what this place looks like paid for a week stay. Over 1400 dollars, when I got into the place I want out or moved somewhere else, first Corp was going to refund me my money and I would be on my own. There refund was 500 dollars only stay one night. The Onsight manager god bless her got me moved to another place that was very good that took one day. I have several more trips coming up I do not know if I will deal with this company again. there is not enough space here to list what was wrong with the hideway

Cute but hard to find
Google maps will only take you so far, it was difficult to find because there were no signs pointing to The Hideaway. Once you find it, it is a beautiful cabin with a large hot tub and nice furniture. However, the road going up to it might be difficult for some cars to climb.
If you plan to cook a lot, I would maybe bring your own pots and pans. Some were good quality, but the biggest pan had a broken handle and the second biggest would stick very easily. Other than these points, the cabin was clean and well furnished and the bed was comfortable. We brought our Chihuahua and he enjoyed being able to lay out on the screened in porch. It is screened in all the way down so small dogs can't squeeze through. On nice days you can leave the door outside open and it is very nice.

Disappointed
The cabin was clean and would have been wonderful except for our experience. The pool table was not in the house as it shows in the pictures and my wife and i were locked out of the cabin for about an hour and a half before they finally got someone to come let us in with a physical key. (the batteries in the keypad were bad) and this was at 10:30 pm at night.. It wouldn't have been as bad had it been earlier and we could have just gone back to town for a little while. The cabin was nice and cozy, the hot tub looked very clean (we never got in though) overall, it was disappointing, the vacasa support sucked. I called the support number and kept pressing the number to speak to someone, but it never worked, that's why i had to use the text only support.
