Cute and cozy yet roomy enough for two sets of parents with two sets of young adult children (8 in total). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Love that it has a wood burning fireplace inside plus a fire pit outside. Not to mention that the location is great. Looking forward to returning in the not so distant future.
We had a good stay at this cabin. The game room, hot tub, and stream on the property were nice amenities enjoyed by kids. Many activities within 10-20 minute drive. The kitchen was well-equipped except we couldn’t find a sponge or brush to wash dishes with. The cabin could use a good deep cleaning (we opened the kitchen window one morning and there was a bug grave yard there, etc) but overall it felt clean. The towels (at least the ones in the basement rooms) were thin and small. Otherwise, great stay and we would stay again.
The location is great! Only minutes from Helen and not much further to Cleveland. One of the biggest issues we've had with cabins in the past is the a/c not cooling it well enough. Not an issue here. It was nice and cool. It is well stocked and (almost) everything works great.. More down below. I did mistakenly not read the reviews and did not know the hot tub was no longer on the property. The only issue with the entire stay was the dishwasher doesn't seem to want to drain, so we didn't use it. I found skunky water in it, so we ran a quick wash and the water never drained out. Letting the owner know so they can fix it as I'm sure it's an easy fix. Overall, a great cabin and excellent location!! Even with no hot tub and dishwasher issues, it still gets 5 stars..
What a great cabin for a short trip with our friends. Location was in close proximity to activities (Helen, winery, hiking) and the cabin has a lot of privacy. Our kids LOVED the arcade and game room and the outdoor deck/fire pit was a great gathering place for us.
We were so pleased with how clean the house was! Just a few notes that may be helpful for other guest renting in the future—the bunk beds were in the basement with no windows. Our kids (under the age of 6) didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in there. I too wouldn’t love that space, but maybe great for teens or older kids! If you sleep in the upstairs loft, expect to hear all the noise throughout the house. I used a sound machine which helped, but definitely not the best spot for light sleepers. Friends said the mattress was too firm for their liking on the main level. We had a few other minor things (both coffee pots not working, some fireplace challenges) but the owner was very responsive. All that said, the house was honestly SO great. They even left firewood for us to use. We would definitely consider booking again.
Overall the location proximity to Helen Ga was perfect. Peaceful and quiet spot on the side of the mountain.
Fire pit was perfect for making s’mores and enjoying the sunset.
Plenty of seating for eight in main living room.
Improvements suggested was upstairs bedroom needs curtains to block light at night. The pillows need replacing with some fluff. They were flat in most rooms.
Arcade game is great but can’t turn off so blaring bright light while kids trying to sleep in bunk.
Update photos. We counted on using hot tub in pictures, but it was gone.
Game room was fine but well used. Equipment could use refreshing.
Appreciate having dish soap and trash bags, etc provided like you would expect a house to have on hand.
Definitely bring extra hand towels and kitchen hand towels.
Cleanliness a because there are an abundant amount of cobwebs. High ceilings contribute to this but they’re reachable in the upstairs loft. Bathrooms and generally clean.
Kitchen was well stocked but some organization and labels would make it easier to get started cooking when you get in after 4 pm check in. Ice filter needed changing so the ice maker didn’t really work.
Would be a nice touch to put up a small Christmas tree and couple wreaths, a few lights across the mantle for the Christmas getaway.

Great potential to be a 5 star location across the board with some attention to these details.
Property was nicely maintained. Location was an easy drive and close to all the local attractions in Helen and in Sauté Nacoochee. We enjoyed our stay.

This property needs some love not cleaned well at all scorpions and snells inside house.Bed linens did not fit mattress ,towels felt like soap was left in the towels.l also think all property owners should have white towels so they can be bleached.
Plenty of beds for our group and close to all we wanted to do. Impressed with the kitchen which was well stocked. Thank you for Al the accommodations that was just what we were looking for.
Home was great , very comfortable plenty of room for everyone, the children really enjoyed the game room. Mornings were wonderful with coffee on the porch. Definitely would stay here again.
We loved this property, the kids had a great time, playing with toys and games in the basement, the kitchen was well equipped, and the property is quiet, private, and lovely.
Our family really enjoyed staying in this cabin. We’ve stayed in several in this region and I loved that the roads were all paved- it was less scary for this Kansas girl ;) It is tucked away where it’s nice and quiet, yet also the perfect distance from Helen where we enjoyed riding the Alpine Coaster and eating some delicious German food.
Property was great! Everything was nice and clean, and just as advertised. My girls enjoyed playing in the creek, and we all enjoyed making Smores at the wonderful firepit area! Easy drive into downtown Helen. I most definitely recommend this property!
What a beautiful cabin! We had a great two days here while exploring Helen with family visiting from overseas. The cabin had everything we needed to keep everyone entertained. The display on the video game was a little finicky, but the host was quick to reply and with persistence, we were able to get it to work. We loved all of the comfy seating in the living room and the separate sleeping spaces where everyone could have their own space.
It was exactly what we were looking for. Close to town but homey enough that we enjoyed staying in. I would bring extra towels and blankets if you have kids. As a coffee nut, there was not a regular coffee pot, but there is a keurig:)
Great family vacation spot. Close to Helen and hiking trails and even some folks who like to rock climb/bouldering. All were able to find activities from 21-67 years old. Property management was very responsive and checkin and out very convenient. House is well equipped with everything you need for kitchen and rainy days: has pool and ping pong table as well as some board games.
Visited beginning May 19 for 5 days. Loved the area. Quiet and secluded. Plenty of room with 2 masters and basement beds. Enjoyed the porch sitting, cool breeze and tranquility. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Game room was ok, but found the ping pong table out near the trash and could not get the video screen to come on. Didn't use the basement area at all. The hot tub did not heat up and some of the jets not working, but the heat could be it needed more time. Perfectly located to go to several of the surrounding towns. Enjoyed going to close by Sautee Village and the Sautee Market and deli as well as visiting the Wineries. Visited Helen..lots of activities there but be prepared to pay for parking everywhere there. Visited Cleveland for groceries at Ingles. Nice to come back to the quiet after a day out. Thank you for the stay!
The location is wonderful and I loved the long driveway. There were a few things that bothered us but nothing that was bad enough to ruin the trip. When we arrived we found the downstairs bed to be broken. I tried to email the host but because of my spotty service, it didn't go through until hours later. We ended up getting some straps and fixing it ourself but once my email did go through, he was quick to offer to send someone out to fix it. We just didn't need the assistance anymore. None of the windows have curtains which was a little unsettling for us, we know it's secluded but there's so many windows that someone could see right in if they wished. That's to include in the upstairs master bathroom and bedroom. You could clearly see into the upstairs bedroom window from the outdoor firepit so be conscientious of that. We ended up posting blankets over the windows in the bedrooms / bathrooms for our peace of mind. You can hear everything in this house, and the quieter you try to be, the louder it seems. Just something to consider if you're a light sleeper, otherwise it probably won't affect you. The ping pong table was great. The kids enjoyed the pool table. We couldn't get the arcade game to work but we didn't put much effort into it because it was in the room with the bunk beds which had an unfinished ceiling and dim lighting, so the kids were totally freaked out by it. They ended up sleeping on the couch. It was a pleasant drive to Helen and conviently located near a DG and Ingles. The open floorplan and high ceilings were very welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the upstairs bedroom was very spacious. I would honestly go back again if they would put up blinds 😂
