The property was clean and in order and everything was in good working order. It was only a few miles to downtown Helen, but far enough out to enjoy some quiet time too.
Realy nice house. listing agency was easy to deal with. Stellar location. last mile of roads in were ... interesting... for a flat lander. But the views and solitude were out of this world.
Nice little cabin. The hot tub was a little smaller than expected but it worked. The bedroom upstairs was very hot. There was 2 fans in the room and we definitely needed them.
The cabin was very charming. It was well decorated with that rustic mountain theme. Except for a little bit of dust in the corners it was very clean. I am OCD with cleanliness, and I was very comfortable staying there. There were all sorts of little touches to make you feel at home. Toy basket for the kids, family games, kid chair for the table, stepstools, etc.. Lots of pillows, blankets.. and the view was great, only I think the trees have grown up and restricted the view a bit.. Need to get some tree guys to top off a few trees and that view could be truly spectacular! We did have a little issue with a mouse in the kitchen, but it’s understandable seeing as we are totally surrounded by woods, on the side of a mountain, and I assume the cabin lies empty on occasion.. Not the type of place I’d expect to see mice, as the property was clean and obviously well cared for… Maintenance came out quickly and set out traps and the mice were secured right away. To be honest, it made our stay more interesting :). They even refunded us for part of our stay, although we didn’t ask for it..
All in all I would definitely recommend this cabin.. we’ve stayed in other Vrbo’s that were kind of grubby.. this one was very nice!

Nice House but needs a deep clean
We had a good stay overall but we did deal with ALOT of dust build up and a half way cleaned floor. I wasn’t a fan of the pillows having no protectors under the cases but that’s just for allergy purposes.
The cabin was very peaceful with a beautiful view on the mountains. The road the house is on is rough, but my Honda civic managed - a car lower to the ground would probably not make it without some damage. The cabin was clean and seemed well appointed (although we ate out so we never used the kitchen to cook - so can't speak about that front). The hot tub worked without issues. All the restaurants/shops we visited seemed to be about 12-15 minutes away and there is a really nice winery right down the street. We didn't get to utilize the fire pit because it rained during our trip, but it looked like a wonderful set up. Really enjoyed our stay!
We were supposed to stay here but it got switched last minute because there was an issue with ants. They put us in a much larger cabin named the Southern Comfort which is also managed by Pinnacle Cabin Rentals. The southern comfort was far from comfortable- hot water barely worked, extremely moldy smell, fridge was leaking. No view. They tried to correct it but watch out for renting this cabin because you may get switched and end up at a crappier one like we did.
Although full of potential, it felt as though the cabin had not been inhabited in a while. There were spiders/spiderwebs everywhere. To enjoy the decks and outdoor areas we had to clean them ourselves. We saw multiple roaches and scorpions, which was scary since we had two infants with us.
The amenities were nice, and everything was fully stocked. We had everything we needed. I just wish someone had done a walk through and knocked the literal and figurative cobwebs off the place before our arrival.
