Search Saussy hotels

The best time to go to Saussy is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather for exploring the Burgundy region, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for outdoor activities like cycling through vineyards or visiting local markets. You'll find the countryside at its most picturesque, either bursting with spring blooms or adorned with autumn colours.

For those keen on experiencing the local harvest and wine festivals, early autumn is particularly rewarding. This is when the vineyards are bustling with activity, and many villages host celebrations of the grape harvest, offering a wonderful insight into the region's culinary traditions. It's also often a quieter time to visit, with fewer crowds than the peak summer months.

Late spring is superb for travellers who prefer slightly milder temperatures and want to see the vineyards in their fresh, green glory. The days are long and bright, making it an excellent time for leisurely drives or walks through the rolling hills.
