Big Red Cottage at Treetops by Lakewood Lux

Treetops is Saugatuck’s only rental featuring three neighboring vintage cottages—perfect for multi-family getaways. Nestled around a shared firepit and professionally maintained hot tub, each cottage offers screened porches, harbor or dune views, and generous outdoor space for grilling and gathering. Cottages may be reserved individually or together, depending on availability. This listing is for Big Red, the largest of the three.

Big Red features two levels of living space, ideal for a primary family or group lead. The upper level includes an open-concept layout with vintage finishes, a soaring ceiling, two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a spacious wraparound screened porch perched on the dune bluff with sweeping harbor views. The lower level, accessible by a separate entrance, includes an additional living area and private bath—perfect for added privacy. Washer/dryer included.

Set atop a 50-foot dune directly across the harbor from downtown Saugatuck, Treetops offers front-row views of the bustling waterfront. Oval Beach, one of the world’s most celebrated shorelines, is just a 15-minute dune walk or a 2-minute drive away.
