Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It only took a few hours to settle into the old school comfort of a home clearly filled with love and not be overwhelmed with today's standards of tenants. The big fireplace, braided rugs and comfy furniture are exactly what I need to unwind. The nigh time darkness and quiet of the area were a bonus and welcoming to these city folk. I haven't slept that good in a while. The house was clean and the kitchen was easy to work in once I took inventory of the supplies."

"Overall a grand house and property and has more places to sleep than it seems in the pictures. There are additional mattresses throughout in closets. We were the first wedding to use the on site tent and storage items, although I was not aware I would be the first. I was talked out of my initial tent rental through an outside company as I had booked that before a permanent tent was added to the property. The tent on site is huge and there are plenty of tables and chairs supplied. There were definitely some kinks to be worked out as those specific offerings are new to them. We had to fix the lighting before use and the generator did not give off as much power as expected. The cost is high for a self-service experience, but as are most wedding venues. The place was mostly clean, but small items like glass doors and bathroom mirrors were noticeably dirty. Many stays appear to be same day change, as when we arrived at 4:00 the cleaners were still finishing up due to a late checkout. Cleaners were very kind, they just have a huge house to get through in a short time. The fire pit is a great area and the deck has a lot of good seating areas. Hot tub is huge. Kitchen is also huge - well stocked. A great place to stay if you have a large group. Floating dock and little fishing boat are a cool addition. Sound system in the house is another cool factor, appeared to have a camera aimed at it. A lot of responsibility on the guest to stay at such a large property."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: TLBART was a lovely home to spend our Maine vacation in. For starters, it was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, with the nice touch of extra towel rods in every room for swim suits and lake towels! For evenings, there is a well stocked chest full of games - we needn’t have brought any! The outside gets even better, with a beautiful fire pit, spacious dock with ample swimming, and great shallow water entry. Swim just a few strokes from the dock to climb on “turtle rock” and dive into the rest of Thompson Lake, large enough for power and sailBoats but clear e ought and with enough islands and coves to enjoy by kayak, canoe or SUP! The home is located near the end of a 1+ mile dirt road, so there is plenty of peace and quiet."
