"Lovely staff and great location. However, the door / wall separating the room and bathroom was entirely see through which made the trip a little difficult. "

"Giovanni was an excellent host and very helpful. The video sent to us prior to arrival showing how to find our room was so good and precise. Our room was clean and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. The private terrace and breakfast provided was plentiful and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this property, very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the busy streets of Matera. Many happy memories made. Thank you. "

"The owner said he didn’t have my reservation but not to worry. He told me to sit down and enjoy lunch on him (he owns a restaurant by the same name)The owner charged me full price for my room and charged me for lunch- he never gave me a bill). Then said he would help me pick up my bags from my car outside the center of Matera. Instead he took me to an occupied apartment and told me this is where I’d be staying.
