"This is a beautiful property, just like a dream. Perfect location, with superb view. The staff was so lovely. They even packed us breakfast the day we left because it was early, and we had no chance to have coffee. The dinner on the terrace was very romantic. I can't recommend this Quinta enough."

"Our stay at Quinta de La Rosa was absolutely perfect. First of all, the property is beautiful. The rooms are large and have everything you need, including complimentary craft beers. The restaurant was one of the best we had in Portugal with the best red wine I’ve had. Their complimentary breakfast was also amazing. We had to leave early before breakfast on our last day and they offered to give us take home breakfast which I’ve never experienced at any other hotel. 13/10 would definitely recommend!"

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"It was the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at this lovely property! It was so unique to have stayed in a 400 years old cottage/villa that was renovated with everything you needed and more. It was also a museum with artifacts from many years ago, very special! Not to mention, the AMAZING home made breakfast every day that was served by the most WONDERFUL women, who were always kind, generous and welcoming to all of us. "For us, this was a great choice. A quiet location and we had a view of the river from our room and also from the common area patios. The hotel clerk gave us excellent advice to take the scenic train from the station across the street which was a wonderful experience. He also showed us a scenic drive through the wine country with a detour to a lookout point which was breathtaking. However this is a very isolated location with one restaurant next door and one across the street. We did have a great meal at the next door restaurant. But if you are looking for lots of dining options this is not the place to stay. The room itself was a bit small and not recently updated. But it was very quiet and we had the window open all night with a nice breeze off the river. Breakfast was a full buffet with lots of options. "
