"Overall, the stay was disappointing, with a few bright spots. Check-in was smooth although they let a lot of cars park in the front of the hotel, against their policy, which makes the walk a lot longer to get to the check in. and the staff were very friendly and clearly doing their best, especially considering it was opening weekend for the Pirates and the hotel was extremely busy. That said, the property itself needs significant improvement.
Parking was unavailable when I arrived, which was frustrating right from the start. The room itself had multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues. The couch was visibly stained, and when I opened the pullout bed, there were crumbs inside, which is unacceptable. The shower was in particularly poor condition—there were stains throughout the tub, wallpaper peeling off the wall, and the upper shower area felt soft and possibly mildewed. The shower head was also underwhelming.
In addition, the air conditioner was very loud and didn’t cool the room effectively, making it difficult to get comfortable. The room also lacked basic functionality—there were very few hooks or places to hang towels, which contradicts the hotel’s request to reuse them.
Also lights on the right of side of the bed don’t work which is annoying. And the lights above the bed are flickering. Does anyone check any of these things before putting a room back in service?
Breakfast was also a letdown. Items were constantly running out, including basic options like oatmeal, and "
