"We had a wonderful week at the Boathouse Cottage. The location could not have been better. You are a 2 minute walk away from a secluded cove on the Bay of Funny (Kelly's Cove) with so much to explore at low tide. The tide pools had lots of treasures- crabs, shells, jellyfish, and unbeatable sunsets. Just 10 minutes away is the small town of St. George with a grocery store and other amenities. Easy day trips include St. Andrews by the Sea (40 minutes) and the white sand beaches of peace river beach (30 minutes) We also really enjoyed exploring Deer Island - the free 20 minute ferry is only 5 minutes from the cottage. The cottage itself was the perfect size for our family of 4. Rustic but appointed; it had the charm of a small restored boathouse but all the comforts and necessities we needed. The owner, Maureen, lives next door and is always available to answer any questions. She is a long time resident to the Bay of Fundy and provided us with local recommendations on beaches to explore and dining that were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Boathouse and hope to return to again. "

"The check in was so easy and the place was amazing. I went with my 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 8, we all loved the cottage and view of the ocean. The owners have so much history of the cottage and campobello, i really enjoyed tje reading materials and all the items in tje cottage that are old or new with so much history of the island..the first night we had this amazing sunset, the picture i posted is untouched..i would love to go agaim next summer. The large deck and screened in porch were wonderdul."

But if you’re looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and convenient than camping, don’t want to worry about whether it will rain, know what you’re getting into with a composting toilet, and a rustic outdoor shower is your idea of luxury, you’ll have a wonderful stay."
