"Beautiful hotel not far from the historic district, an easy walk to restaurants and the National Palace. Room was clean but a bit odd - we had a lovely terrace with nice seating and outdoor kitchen and shower. Shared the terrace with some peacocks. Breakfast was excellent and each evening there was wine and cheese on the hotel terrace. Area near the hotel was nicely maintained but the extensive gardens were in disrepair, presumably from the awful storms last January. Would be even better if the garden paths were open."

"We had a WONDERFUL stay at Arribas Sintra Hotel. The sound of waves on the beach was so soothing. The buffet breakfast was delicious, The staff were well-trained, polite and courteous and friendly. The place was clean and modern with an awesome veranda overlooking the ginormous pool. We loved the pool, lukewarm and clean and gorgeous. The beds were the best of this vacation. The food in the resraurant was great. Memorable stay in every way. We taxied into Sintra for a tuk-tuk tour, but the beach was its own reward. We'd love to come back. Most highly recommended. "

"We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous resort. The staff were kind, courteous, and super helpful. The resort itself is gorgeous and located in the most picturesque spot, perched over the ocean. We look forward to returning and staying longer. It is worth noting that the hotel is walkable to a gorgeous ocean-front park and many local restaurants. "The hotel.com listing states that there are laundry facilities onsite. This is incorrect. We had to drive across town to a laundromat to do our laundry."
