This property is NOT AS DESCRIBED. It is an apartment within Hotel Mercure. The front desk will check you in but provide zero other service; you have to contact the "owner" for that, and they have no idea who that is or how to contact them. The apartment is old, shabby and pretty creepy. There is a card with a WhatsApp number but they don't answer. The bedding was old and not clean when I arrived. The wifi does not work. There is no 24/7 front desk or room service as it says on the Expedia page. They were storing paint cans in the unit. Just super weird. Avoid!!

Lived at three hotels in Sao Paulo this time, and this one is the reason why. Horrible place. You are renting from an apartment owner which the guys in the reception take no responsibility for, cannot book or do anything with. Nice doorguard and ok (but expensive) breakfast, the rest not good - run down, filthy, irresponsible. last time i had this bad was in run down plastic hostel hongkong 5 years ago, this one is the same :-/ (luckily the hotels i moved to where better - try the Heritage in the same price level, super)

My stay at this apartment was great. The checking in was seamless and the apartment was just as seen in the image…clean, comfortable and conveniently located. I would recommend and even book again for future stays.
