Damp and moldy
The air was very damp and smelled like mold. There was indeed some black mold on the shower curtain and on the window curtain. Everything felt slightly damp in the room including our pillows. It was therefore extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep. We woke up in the morning feeling nausea presumably ...

Wonderful Pico Stay
Casa de Ferreiro is an incredible property, quietly nestled on wonderful Pico Island. You can easily access the entire island from this location, though it is tempting to just relax on the incredible balcony. Great bathrooms, water pressure and check in process as well.

We had a lovely stay at the Azoris Faial Garden hotel. Fabulous views of Pico island and lovely hotel grounds. Food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and all food clearly labelled for allergens. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
