"We had reserved the hotel the day before. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our room was not ready. The front desk said we would need to wait for the room to be cleaned, about 30 minutes. Or we had the option to go to the room of the first floor, but we had paid for the upper level room. But we would not be able to use the pool or have anywhere to put our things. "The hotel is way out in the country, far away from the town accessed by a very rough road. The unit is over a kilometre to the beach and restaurant. No one and I mean no one speaks a word of English. Texts aren’t answered unless in Portugese . And it’s a time share. The house itself is lovely though, maybe fine for Brazilians, but not English only speakers."
