"Awesome rustic resort! Lots of local charm, jungle pools, monkeys, macaws, jungle hammocks, beautiful beach and hotel restaurant bar across the street, neat river tour , jungle paths and helpful staff. Beautiful charming old but clean rooms with good AC and great balcony views. Breakfast included ,very good tipico Salvadoran ( plus pancakes!). Half hour to airport. Beds firm but comfy. Great affordable drinks and beers. Front desk great English. Everyone else enough to order food/drink with my limited Espanol! Uber 20 to airport, 40 to San Salvador. No AC in restaurants but not a big deal to me. Plan on coming back next year after our medical mission."
