"Honestly, we expected the hotel to be good, but it actually surpassed our expectations in pretty much every way. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the minute we walked in the door, but never fussy. "The hotel was nothing short of beautiful.The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here."

"The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Castelo de Vide. The building is dated but everything is very clean and tidy. The room we stayed in was very basic. Few electrical outlets, no cupboards or drawers for our clothes and poor lighting, but the heating worked and the shower was wonderful. The breakfast served was outstanding. This hotel is good value for the money."
