"The unit is very nice, newly renovated and clean on the inside. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. Note (for privacy purposes) that the unit is behind a home where you will need to walk up a drive way to the back to locate the unit. The living room window and bedroom window of the unit faces the backyard common area and slider of the home it shares walls with. The host was very helpful upon arriving to the unit. It’s a hidden gem for a short term stay if you aren’t looking for a place with scenery/view. "
"We actually live in San Diego, but wanted a staycation somewhere that wasn't our own house - and this house was perfect for us. It's the perfect size for a family, and the pool and deck were exactly what we needed. The pseudo-separate studio was ideal for us to escape the teenagers and feel like we had something on our own. We also had fun exploring downtown La Mesa, which is quaint and has lots to do. All in all, just what we needed. "
