"Place was awesome, staff very attentive and the food was great. But being a high end place and for the price, hearing the train every 4 hours or so in the day, hearing people yelling at night… made me question spending the money I spent there. Great view, nice room sure but the tranquility wasn’t there if you’re REALLY looking to relax. Just my opinion, if your into bar hopping and the night life go for it. If you’re looking for peace, it’s not worth the money. "

"This hotel is transitioning ownership from Motel 6 to vagabond Inn. It is a super nice property and I imagine it is the best dollar value for the area by far. We needed a place to stay for an early morning commitment in Santa Barbara. The cheapest thing we could find in Santa Barbara was a hostel stay and that hostel stay would have been more expensive, way less private, And way louder.
Very happy with this. Highly recommend."

"We love this place we almost don’t want to tell anyone about it!
I do wish they had a hot tub though so that when visiting and the weather happens to run fresh there would still be an amenity to enjoy. It would also be nice if they offered a burger or something a bit more chill on the dinner menu too so that if you’re staying more than one night you don’t get bored of the same seafood fancy food! Like, we love fancy food, but sometimes you just want a burger 😂"
