Many restrictions but some staff are very kind. Edgardo from Buho Bar makes the best piña coladas in the whole resort. Limited dining food quality and taste subpar for cost. Will need more than 1 golf cart between buildings but they tried their best to make it work. Receptionists Diara and Roslyn at Reservado building were awfully rude and made the stay uncomfortable. Their attitude was horrid and they were constantly on their phone gossiping while people waited on line for assistance. They ignored our good mornings or hellos but other workers in the lobby were always kind. Roslyn and Diara were annoyed with any questions we had about the map or resort services as they were met with eye rolls and indifference. Angel the barman at reservado pool bar was also unfriendly but we worked with Erick for the rest of the trip to try avoid anymore unpleasantries. Imprtant to note most of these resorts hold permanent residents so some owners are quite unfriendly to hotel guests. No music on any beach or pool or public area. Mostly nothing to do before 1030am, as there are no planned events and all pools/stores are closed within tthe resort. Some of the best massages available at the spa however, the chocolaterapia is a great choice.
It is a great complex in the middle of natural beauty. Nice beaches… good customer service, good food… the all include plan is great

It felt really safe to be in the hotel. Security guards were very aware and asked questions to make sure that guests were going into the right taxi and only guests were going into the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I will be coming here for my next time in Santa Marta.

We stayed in the Del Mar building and it was excellent, we had a 2 bedroom apartment that was big enough for 5 people comfortably, the service was pretty good, food at the buffet was just OK, the Italian restaurant was much better, pools and the beach are great, will go back for sure.

The place was very comfortable, but the lack of restaurants and activities in the Reservado tower was a little disappointing, also having the pool closed so early, maybe it is the season, but they could install some nice illumination and keep the pool open until at least 10 pm

Irotama Torres es bastante limpio y grande. El apartamento tenía una vista hermosa al mar y tiene buen aire acondicionado. La piscina es muy linda infinity y siempre hay staff dispuesto a ayudar… siempre con una sonrisa.
Nostros tomamos el bus del hotel o el carrito de golf para transportarnos hacia el irotama lagos donde está la piscina principal.
Lo que más nos gustó fue la amabilidad de todo el staff del hotel, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y muy amables.
Recomendada la comida en cocos a la carta

We had a wonderful experience at Itotama resort. In trying to see lots of areas of Colombia, we only spent one night here. It was not enough! I would come again and stay longer and enjoy more of the many offerings of this beautiful resort.

The pictures of this resort on Orbitz are a little deceiving. They show a lobby, but there are four lobbies. We took the shuttle from the airport which was great, but we were dropped at a place that didn't match the picture. I thought we were at the wrong place. Don't make that mistake. This resort is great. We have traveled to Santa Marta many times. This was our first time at Irortama and when we return we will be staying at the Irotama. I don't know what to say about this resort, 5 stars, 10 out of 10. We rented a "Junior Suite" which was much more than the pictures posted on Orbitz. This is a beautiful resort and I recommend you consider it in your search for places to stay.

The two room suite was very spacious, well maintained and clean. Pools are great and the resort has plenty of space and activities.
We required gluten free food (Coeliac) and staff were always very helpful in making sure they understood what was needed. The only downside was having to explain someone different at every meal what gluten free meant.
There is a mall with restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies very close from the resort.
The experience was really good. I would change the dining or eating options. The restaurants aren't that good, food could be better.

The hotel is excellent! It is very clean and has very good customer service. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
The view from the rooms is fascinating. The pools are very nice, the girls loved it. We will definitely repeat our stay at this hotel more often. It is a beautiful experience for those who travel as a family, especially with children.

It’s a brand new, extremely well set up, maintained and cleaned property. I enjoyed the spacious room, living room and bathroom. The balcony had an amazing view overlooking the bay. All around 10/10! We’ll definitely stay there again!!!

Modern buildings. Excepcional customer service, good food, great location, beaches in good standing( except that at this trip I noticed many street vendors selling at the beach )
This time, only 2 pools were opened. The available access for sauna and turco were impossible (3 days) waiting list reservation !!
I was a little disappointed because I pay for all inclusive.
In general it is a good place for vacations,

This place was amazing! Everything is so well coordinated you will feel at home. The staff is super helpful and attentive. The food is delicious and they are doing a great job with all the Covid measures. I hope you can come visit!
The staff is tremenous. This is our third trip to the property and it has outstanding personnel. Yudy the waitress in El Buho is the best, the waiter on the 16th floor Inajel is great and the room service snd housekeeping is 1st class. We stayed in Del Mar. With the coronavirus we were limited in facilty use, but the pool and food was great. Latam cut our trip short with flight cancellation, and the gym and sauna were closed as well. We hope to return in the future and hope management will provide compensation for us having to leave 4 days early. This resort is 5 star.
