CASA RHINO is an exquisite, upscale private villa with swimming pool situated within a green and gated comunity.

Conveniently located 15-minute drive from Puerto Escondido city center.

25 minutes from the international airport (PMX).
Alternatively, it is also 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Huatulco international airport (HUX).

The beach is vast (20km long) and unpopulated unless by sea turtles and exotic birds.

The unique location of the property allows guests to witness both the sunrise and sunset from the same spot.

For surfing enthusiasts, the world famous Mexican pipeline Zicatela surf spot is a 15-minute drive away, and the region offers several other surf spots.

Swim in the bioluminescent lagoon of Manialtepec.
This natural wonder is a must-see for any visitor to Puerto Escondido. The lagoon is home to millions of tiny plankton that glow when disturbed, creating a magical light show. The best time to swim in the bioluminescent lagoon is around the new moon, when the water is darkest.
Go surfing at Zicatela Beach. Zicatela is one of the best surfing beaches in the world, and it's a great place to catch some waves. If you're a beginner, there are plenty of schools that offer lessons.

An oasis of peace

Such a relaxing, beautiful place! The staff were fantastic and the host was very accommodating. We truly enjoyed this little oasis on a gorgeous secluded beach

La casa está muy bien con una excelente distribución para grupos grandes de amigos o familias. El servicio es excelente. El chef muy bueno y dispuesto a atender los gustos de todos. Amazing !

We had a great time at Casa Rhino. It was so relaxing and in a beautiful open air house on a beautiful private beach. Ricardo, the owner and Memo and his crew, housekeeper/chef were very easy to work with. The food was fresh and delicious! It was so nice to have it cooked right there! The house was breezy with many fans to help the heat and humidity of Puerto Escondido. The pool felt wonderful. The ocean current is strong and the waves are not really rideable, but we loved going in still, just not to far. My favorite was going to sleep hearing the waves crash! Uber is not available, but Memo will call you a local taxi to go into town. My kids surf so we rented equipment in La Punta and at Zicatela while we watched them in rented lounge chairs at the beach. My husband loved the house so much he did not leave. We were there 4 days in April 2024 and we’ll definitely book again! I highly recommend staying at Cass Rhino!
