Beautiful historic building with lovely beach club. It is an old property so expected some of the wear and tear in the room. Decent amenities in the room- not 5 star but had what I needed. Staff is friendly and professional. Particularly enjoyed the beach club- who appeared for breakfast on a rainy day. Included breakfast was top. Definitely get a sea view balcony room. That makes all the difference.

The Imperial Palace hotel in Santa Margherita is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. It is convenient to town and boating launches. The property itself is stunning. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The beach area and pool on the property are lovely. There’s so much to do in the area you cannot go wrong. The hotel restaurant is so beautiful for dinner on the balcony overlooking the sea. We look forward to return trip.

An incredibly special hotel that commands a beautiful location overlooking the town of Santa Margharita Ligure. The grounds are spectacular and the staff could not had been more helpful or welcoming. Breakfast on the wrap around terrace admiring the spectacular views was an absolute pleasure. If you like traditional elegant hotels, this is a must.

This is a beautiful property with direct access to the beach although it’s quite a trek down a large flight of steps. Beautifully manicure gardens though. Breakfast was amazing also. The one thing that I found surprising is that the walls and ceilings seem a little bit thin. We could hear footsteps and other noise from the room above us very clearly.

Overall a wonderful stay. Great location, beautiful views, and the feel of a grand old hotel. With that comes the a bit more noise than usual and some challenges getting the room comfortably cool. The room was spacious but missed warmth from artwork and well considered furniture. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful overall with one notable miss - at the pool or ocean, we experienced long waits and forgotten requests.
