Paradise found…

Such a great location in town. Having lived in Capitola for many years past and returning to the area for a visit to celebrate my son’s birthday, this home was the perfect spot to settle in and enjoy the area. The space is great, architecture delightful and quirky in the best way, ocean air flow through the many windows and incredible sliders was a plus. The yard is beautifully designed. There were many spots to relax and enjoy. We had a great stay in this hidden gem!!

OK but I’ve had better

House was clean and in a decent location but communication with the property manager needs work. We did not get to check in until Friday night so by the time we got there the office was closed. Our light in the bathroom above the sink upstairs did not work and the TV remote did not work. We only had one channel. I called the office number on Saturday morning because the emails that I had been receiving stated they were open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 5. I attempted 3 to 4 times to call and never got an answer. I called the emergency number to let them know my problems. It would’ve been nice to be able to watch TV at night. The lady I spoke to said she would call me back in 30 minutes that she was going to attempt to call I guess they’re handy person to come out and look at the issues. i’m still waiting on that phone call. And no one ever came out to address our issues. This was also after calling the same number on Friday night because the thermostat did not seem to be working. The person I reached Friday night told me to give it about 30 minutes to warm up and then call back if it didn’t work. I’ve never known of an HVAC system to have to warm up. Lucky for us it cooled down at night so it wasn’t hot in the house at night and we were gone during the daytime. Very disappointing in the communication.

A quirky place

The property was fun, it felt like staying in a house built for a sitcom. The rooms are very vibrant and have their own unique quirks. The beds were also quite comfy. In the closets were some board games, which was nice. There is also a fridge and sink upstairs and downstairs, which is nice. The wifi didn't make it throughout most of the house, which was sad since we couldn't watch netflix on the tv downstairs. The main lighting fixture in the master bedroom sparked a little bit while it was on, so we only used the lamp and lights above the head of the bed. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would recommend the location.

Excellent place with a short walk to the beach.

Location was great and my family and I had a great time staying here. The beach is a three minute walk from the house and it’s nestled in a very quiet street. It was perfect for a long and relaxing weekend.

Great location

The only down side was cleanliness, we walked into dirty dishes and dirty counters, luckily I brought cleaning supplies and was planning on doing a quick clean anyways as a Covid precaution. The location is perfect. The floor plan is perfect for two young families and the outdoor shower in the tropical yard was awesome. LOVED opening the doors on the second story to let the ocean breeze in.

Excellent, Moden House, blocks from the beach!

Wow! What a place. This pics do the place some justice, because this place is really nice: from the modern decor, to the heated downstairs tile, to the huge windows to bring in the beach atmosphere, we really enjoyed this place to the fullest. The owners have done a great job in making sure just about everything for beach-going family or two was covered. We highly recommend this property for a fantastic and secluded beach getaway.
