Inzake de geluidsoverlast, het is een hotel restaurant, dit restaurant is open tot na middernacht, maar de kamers zijn er direct boven, hierdoor is het moeilijk slaap vatten door gepraat, hard gelach etc. De locatie is prima, maar wel in the middle of nowhere. "This was most unique place to stay. Quaint quirky and a lot of history. The rooms were were very quaint with sloping ceilings and stone walls. The breakfast room and breakfast itself were good. Free parking was a bonus too.
Only negative was that we visited in a very hot spell, and being an old property therefore no air condition, which we understood but a fan in each of our rooms would have be so appreciated. Being in the eaves was exceptionally hot with only a velux to open."
"Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of the city. Our room was clean and beautiful. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the the restaurant. We look forward to returning again. "
"Very helpful at check-in. Room was a good size, a/c worked well and plenty of light in the bathroom. Complementary water was a nice touch. Mattress on bed was very comfortable but the bed frame squeaked when either of us turned over, my only criticism, better bed frames needed.
Breakfast was OK, warm food tended to be a bit tepid and scrambled eggs had a hard top on them due to standing under a heat lamp for too long.
Nice swimming pool although I didn’t use it
