McCauley's Havilland Bay

McCauley's Havilland Bay

10/10 Excellent
"The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely renovated. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend this motel; unfortunately we were there while the restaurant was closed, but, a neaby restaurant was great."

LaniKai Hotel & Restaurant

LaniKai Hotel & Restaurant

8/10 Good
"The staff were wonderful, the restaurant was convenient and the food was good. The bathroom of the room I stayed in had cracks in the walls and a sloping floor from water damage, so it could use some serious maintenance. In spite of the obvious structural damage, you could tell there was good effort at cleaning, so it felt comfortable enough."

"The location of the cabin was beneficial for our needs. Communication with the host was easy; access was also easy for our large group coming & going. Two queen bedrooms were private; other sleeping quarters were not private;"

Cozy Fall Beach Cottage | Lake Superior Views

Cozy Fall Beach Cottage | Lake Superior Views

10/10 Excellent
"The property was exactly as described and shown in the listing. Gene was a pleasure to deal with making the check in and check out process seamless. We have rented quite a number of places and there is inevitably something that the owner has not thought of but Gene has everything covered. The neighbourhood is quiet and the beach is lovely. It is about 5 minutes away from a restaurant to the south and about 10 minutes from a general store and LCBO. Conveniently close to Lake Superior Provincial Park."

10/10 Excellent
"This was our second summer staying here, that probably says it all, and we’d happily come back again. The cottage was spotless, the beds are really comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. Having the kayaks, paddles, firewood and BBQ all ready to go made it easy to settle in and enjoy our holiday. We loved spending time on the deck and in the gazebo, taking in the beautiful lake views and the peace and quiet. It really is the perfect place to slow down. The host was always friendly, quick to respond and easy to get hold of if we had a question.A couple of things future guests might like to know: the water is shallow and a little muddy near the shore before becoming firmer underfoot. A wonderful cottage and a great base for exploring the Sault and Lake Superior. We already hope to be back again."
