Thanks for choosing our place. While you are a tech guy I fail to understand the key issue, 1 text to me and a fast response back and the key was located 10 feet from the door. I don"t see a need to mention this at all. Did you want it delivered by drone?? Ha Ha. The first night it was a bit warm on your arrival as the AC that WAS working, however it had been off all week. As for the poor planning, I learned the unit was approaching demise 5 days prior to your arrival. In an effort to address the issue BEFORE it was not able to work at all for you or someone else I chose to take advantage of my FIRST opportunity to replace the entire central air system, in the middle of summer, with an HVAC company, that was kind enough to do the job with a few days notice, AND had the unit and parts in stock, in the middle of summer!! This has been a real challenge lately to get qualified people, parts and time to fall into place. The ENTIRE system was replaced in about 5.5 hours, it is all custom work and fabrication, NOT like changing a tire with 5 lugnuts. I am sorry for your issues, you went home and the job was done 30 minutes after you left. Poor planning would have been to ignore the failing AC unit, I spent over 3 grand to prevent a real emergency with the AC in a matter of 5 days. I had to take advantage of time, contractor schedules, and parts availibility to be PROACTIVE with a critical part of being a responsible owner. Sorry you were caught up in a unfortunate timing thing, however if it was broken for you, you would have been upset that I ignored a problem. I did noit ignore the problem. With 5 days notice I had the entire system replaced in 5.5 hours, when most contractors told me about 4 weeks or so. I did my best, sorry the 5.5 hours came at your expense. I started the project based on a number of issues that I can not control, as we are booked all the time, coordinating all of the factors involved is not easy and I chose to be PROACTIVE.
