"We had an amazing stay. The condo is well outfitted and perfectly set up for our needs with each bedroom having a bathroom. The location can’t be beat - steps across from beach access and restaurants. The 2 bedrooms without air conditioning can get warm but are easily cooled down with the doors and fans. Would stay again. "Woodhouse Mountain Lodge was an ideal escape for us. Situated on a mountainside that feels remote despite being minutes from a highway, this lodge offers villas that feel secluded and "away from it all," along with ocean views. The villas are luxuriously appointed with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, gas fireplaces and beautiful artwork. We enjoyed walking the grounds, sweating in the sauna, and eating delicious meals at the lodge. The staff were super friendly. If you're looking for a private escape just an hour from Auckland, this is your place. Don't miss the opportunity to hit up Omaha beach during your stay -- a real gem with miles of walking and rugged sea."
