"Room was clean, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! "

"Ordered a room with a hot tub that didn't work and never got fixed. Manager said he would get it fixed or change our room - never happened. The hot water dribbled out of the faucet, while the 2 sinks and the shower worked fine. Door had gaps (up to 1/2") around it. Both televisions had to be fixed to play. The thermostat on the heater did not shut it off. The floor transition strip to the hot tub area was a trip hazard, and they had to replace the hair dryer. On the 3rd day of our 4 night stay, the assistant manager (Suki?) agreed to refund me the difference between a regular room and our room. He gave me a form that shows a refund for the difference - $164.42. Imagine my anger when I saw my credit charges, and they took it off, AND put it back on my bill - charging me the full amout that I had booked. I left early on the 26th, and no one was at the front desk to give me a final receipt. I'm a retired Quality Manager as well as having been a Secret Shopper and have dealt with customer satisfaction all my life. I have to say the manager has a very poor attirude towards customers and it showed in his interactions with customers as well as his facial expressions and body language. Most of the staff acted similarly. I have to admit that the man who checked us in, and the assistant manager were very congenial. I lived in the area 1/2 of my life and passed this hotel many times over the years. My assessment then as it is now - It's a place I wouldn't want to stay at."

"Cozy Beach Getaway not only lived up to its name as a favorite but exceeded our expectaions. An easy booking, quick response to questions and the listing was way nicer than pictured. So many details in unit to make feel at home. Location is perfect, bicycles were so much fun to ride on boardwalk and the courtyard so private. Kitchen had so many extras we could make our own meals. Many extras on the tv channels. We enjoyed our stay so much and working with Diedre was easy and she's just super nice host. Can't wait until our next visit! Thank you! B"
