Great location, basic accommodation
This property met, but did not exceed our expectations. Location was great, walkable to downtown and stores. The two upstairs bedrooms did not have doors which limited privacy. Beds, bedding, and furnishings were all basic but suited our needs.

Perfect Location
Overall a perfect situation in a perfect location. Walk into town for coffee. Drive 20mins to the mountain. Walk to the grocery store for dinner. The home had everything we needed.

Perfect Sandpoint Location
Location is perfect, quickly walkable to everything in Sandpoint. Accommodations were comfortable and homey feeling, hot tub was great after a day at Schweitzer! We will be back.

Cute, centrally located house
This was a great base for a family ski trip. The location is quite and very walkable to a cute part of town. Also, the hot tub was excellent!

Good for Sandpoint
Great location in Sandpoint. The home is older but still adequate. The backyard was fantastic especially since we bought our dogs. The owner put a lot of effort into holiday details, which made the home very warm during the holiday.

Perfect Gem
Recently had the pleasure of staying at this property with my family of 5 and another couple of 4 along with one pet. We needed a home that could accommodate 2 adult couples and 5 children that was centerally located with easy access to a local soccer field. First, the soccer tournament dates changed and the home owner was willing to change the dates for us and shorten the stay. She was very responsive to any correspondance sent, even while at the home. Secondly, the home came well equiped with items for entertainment (games, subscribed TV options, Alexa) along with a fantastic hot tub in the back yard. Speaking of the backyard, it's wonderful. It's a great space to hang out and have dinner or a nice glass of wine by the fire place. The sleeping quarters were adequate for our needs. Beds were comfortable. Fans provided in each room helped keep it cool. Home is quiet and cozy. The home is within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shop. But if you don't want to walk, the provided Kurig can brew up a mean cup of coffee. Definitely looking forward to rebooking for next years tournament.

This is a suitable dog-friendly property, with an enclosed backyard - which was important criteria for our trip. The host has thought of and provides many necessities to easily settle in, making it a home away from home. It is evident that the host is conscientious of their tenants comfort. Although you will be drawn to walking the conveniently short distance into town and the lakeside often during your stay, it would be a shame to miss out on enjoying time in the spacious and well-thought out arrangement of the backyard – with a hot tub. It is an older home, and as mentioned in a previous review, the stairs to the second floor are steep. It’s great that the property is within very close proximity to the lake and downtown, but because of that there are the noises associated with those of staying near businesses. It is a charming property. The host made it so easy to enjoy our extended weekend stay. Yes, we would choose to stay here again.

Great Stay!
This is our second time staying. It’s the perfect location with so many great places to walk to. The gym, coffee, grocery store and downtown Sandpoint are all in walking distance.

This was such a perfect house! It is all in the details! The host has all the little things you need! Thank you! Thank you! The backyard is beautiful! We had a large family wedding and was able to have people over for a bbq used the fire pit and spa. Easy walking distance from downtown! Many friends stayed in the local hotels and came over each morning to sit on the porch for coffee! Cannot say enough of how perfect this house was! Thank you for lovely accommodations!

Nice place
Wonderful location in Sandpoint. Close to Schweitzer mountain, beautiful area overall. Photo's represent the house well. Master bedroom nice, with a nice mattress. Water gets really hot, stairs are not very child friendly and no doors on upstairs rooms are main downsides. We had a wonderful time and visited with little kids (2,3,5) Great communication, lots of entertainment on tv and games. Very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Loved the location.
It was great walking everywhere…to the store, downtown shops and restaurants. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable. The only negative was the backyard is not user friendly as it has no grass, just dirt (or mud if it rains). Not ideal for our dog.

Lovely home, great location.
We loved our stay here in Sandpoint! Laura was very responsive to our questions before and during our trip. The house is clean and the location is great!! It is quiet, yet still within walking distance to a grocery store, downtown shopping and restaurants, and the beach! It is also about 30 minute drive to Schweitzer Mountain. Great place to relax and have fun!

Perfect Girls Weekend In
Our stay was wonderful. Plenty of clean towels, the kitchen had all of the utensils we needed. Ample seating for everyone - we maxed out the guest list (10). Communication with host Laura was easy and prompt. Very centrally located, but on a quiet street. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location and Home Base
The location of the home is excellent, within walking distance to the downtown and a major grocery store, and an easy drive to many of the area's attractions. Laura was very easy to deal with and the home was nicely outfitted with everything needed for game nights in, bbq'ing and relaxing after a day's activities.

Great Ski Weekend
This was perfect for a family ski week and New Years celebration. Very cozy and had a chance to enjoy a beautiful snowfall. We used the complimentary shuttle bus fri, the red barn to Schweitzer and were just 10mins away. Our adult children enjoyed the ease of walking to downtown after a day of skiing. The kitchen was great for fixing meals. Some great family memories.

Good in town location
We had a nice stay - everything is here that you'll need. It was very quiet and the house was warm and cozy. The downstairs king bed is very firm. Everything was very easy for us to arrive and start enjoying ourselves. We were here over Christmas, and the house was decorated - including a tree to put our gifts under. Nice alternative to staying at Schweitzer.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming old house in the middle of town. Easy walking distance to downtown shopping, next to Safeway, hospital and emergency services. The fully fenced yard was great for the dogs. House has two bedrooms and a full bath on the main floor and two bedroom areas on the upper floor with another full bath. Just be aware of steep stairway to upper floor. Two beds and bath on this level have limited privacy but very charming and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped with a nice gas stove for gourmet cooks. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway
The location of the property is perfect. It's close to downtown, grocery store right around the corner. The house itself is pretty good. The seating at the kitchen dining table only has 4 chairs not seating for 6. There isn't enough seating in this house. The couch and 2 chairs only seat 5. In a house that sleeps 10 I would've liked more seating. We made it work. Unfortunately my stepdaughter saw a mouse. I saw a few traps so obviously this is an issue. We had to hose off the patio furniture and back patio area in order to use it. Overall a great place to stay and if needed I would stay again. Laura was great to work with, very quick with answers and information. Very nice gal.
