Perfect weekend getaway
The cabin is well thought out and decorated. It is inviting and relaxing. Just a few minutes outside of Sandpoint and you are surrounded by trees. We will absolutely be returning.

Wow! Just WOW!
I needed a place to get away and relax for a night. This place did not disappoint. The serenity is palpable as soon as you arrive. Definitely cozy, but so perfect for a small family, or couple. Arrival/check-in was seamless and welcoming. Very clear instructions for how everything works and where things are located. The decor, the mattress/pillows, and the complementary touches were all wonderful and I loved how everything was labeled. I also love that I didn't have a checklist of things to do before checking out. 10/10 in my book and would absolutely love to stay here again.

Great location and cozy stay
The cabin is positioned a perfect 30 minute distance from the Schweitzer ski area, especially considering the majority of that 30 minutes is driving up the mountain itself. The inclusion of small amenities like farm fresh eggs and cabin slippers were excellent touches from gracious hosts. If you are looking to stay in the area, I highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again if the opportunity allows.

Comfy Cabin
We had the most amazing time staying in the Cabin in the Meadow. Our two boys loved the loft bed and the cabin size was comfy and perfect for our family. Every detail was thought of...from the little things you may have forgotten to fresh farm eggs and some local goodies. We loved the outdoor fire pit, sledding and feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere, but yet close enough to town and the ski mountain. The hospitality from the owners was great and we'd highly recommend this cabin! We greatly enjoyed our trip and hope to visit again soon!

Christmas at the Cabin in the Meadow
This was our second visit to the Cabin in the Meadow. It was just as wonderful as our first visit. The cabin is lovely as is the location. Rachael has the cabin tidy as a pin and it has all of the wares of home. Everything provided is so thoughtful and nice and she has a lovely talent of decor. She left treats (scones) and fresh eggs too. The cabin is close to Sandpoint and Schweitzer for shopping, dining and fun! So happy we were able to visit for Christmas as we hadn't had any plans and this made our holiday very special! Hoping to visit again someday! Thank you Rachael

Wonderful respite in the woods
We had a very lovely stay at the Cozy Cabin in Sandpoint. There are so many wonderful features and added touches that made this a place I’d love to return to. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs taking in the serenity of the surrounding pines. It really is a great place to unwind—private and serene. Thank you Kris and Rachel for a very lovely stay!

Wild turkeys, deer. Atmosphere, clean, welcoming. Very relaxed setting with thoughtful touches. Good coffee selection and unique items like wine and fresh eggs to make it feel very comfortable. Great place!

Friends Getaway
Stayed in this little cabin for one night while travelling to Pendleton Rodeo. It is ‘perfect’ the attention to detail is over the top. Beautiful quality linens complimentary wine + scones upon arrival were a beautiful touch and appreciated. It is very private yet close to all main amenities. The photos are great but don’t show how incredibly sweet of a cabin it truly is! The owners have truly put their heart into the construction and care that has gone into this cabin. Would highly recommend.

We loved our short stay in this cabin. It was decorated beautifully and the setting in the woods was quiet and private. The host provided some wonderful amenities, including wine and fresh eggs, and was always responsive and helpful.

Best cabin I’ve ever stayed at!
The pictures don’t do this place justice. If I could rate higher than 5/5 stars I would. They even include complementary drinks, coffee, and snacks. Place is aesthetic, clean, and tranquil.

Fantastic
This little cabin in the meadow was just what we needed to take a break on a two week motorcycle trip. After just arriving, and sitting on the porch, a doe and a fawn slowly walked by, as if on que. Every little detail was thoughtful and in character. New, high quality construction. I hope we are able to come back and stay longer in the future.

Absolutely wonderful!
Our stay in this wooded tucked away cabin could not have been better. The cabin is so well done, immaculate and the hosts left amazing little goodies for us. From the towels, to the silverware, everything is top notch. We truly hope we can get back there someday. Loved it!

Stayed during sandpoint music festival. Close to everything greeted by deer every day. Wash and dryer great bonus. Was concerned about lack of air conditioning however window unit was awesome. Very clean can’t wait to stay again.

Outstanding stay! We saw a moose 50 feet from the front deck on 2 seperate days! Also deer and wild turkeys one evening. The place is super clean, linens are first class, and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Easy access to restaurants in Sandpoint. Highly recommended!

The cabin is adorable. The furnishings and furniture are perfect! The location is close to town but feels remote. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is spa-like. Adding an oven would make the kitchen perfect. Time was forgotten and relaxation took over. Our check out was a little quirky, but we would rent the cabin again if we get the chance to return to Sandpoint.

Unfortunately, our vintage oven is not functional at this time, as is mentioned in our listing, but the stove, microwave, fridge and BBQ are all fully functioning! We’re sorry you felt like checkout was quirky, we did not want to call and interrupt your relaxation, but we do have our check out and check in times based on how long we need to make sure our cabin is sanitized, refreshed, & ready for the next guests to enjoy. We are always happy to accommodate late check out, as long as it will not affect our other guests check in times, we just ask you request a late check out prior to the actual check out time.

I stay in a lot of guest rentals and I also owned one myself. This one was a delight. From the moment you drive up to this private oasis, look at all the details from the grill, fire pit (stocked), rockers on porch and ALL the amazing amenities inside. Everything down to the hooks in the bathroom are very tasteful 'Cabin theme". Having laundry in a tiny cabin is an added bonus. THANK YOU!

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods
Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The cabin is by far the cleanest, and prettiest of all the places we have stayed. The decor had fun touches of antique and new, but everything was super nice and quaint. The small touches of chocolates, wine, beer, scones, and fresh eggs on top of the usual amenities like coffee just felt like our hosts had gone out of their way to make this the best VRBO experience possible. If I could have picked up this cabin and taken it with me, I totally would have on our epic 2 weeks of road trip travels. I love that the hosts were available if needed but respected our privacy and let us soak in the beautiful surroundings. If we are in Sandpoint again, I know where we are staying!

So special!
My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary trip in Sandpoint and this cabin was the perfect spot to come back to and enjoy our evenings by the fire pit. The owners put so much care into the build of this place. It was extremely clean when we arrived and the little gifts they leave throughout the cabin go to show how much care they put into this rental. We will for sure be renting again if/when we come back to Sandpoint.

Cute Cabin
My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a conference. It was perfect and provided a peaceful setting to unwind. This little cabin was clean and cute! Heads up: the fridge is quite small (fitting for the small space), so bring a cooler. The decor was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice cabin in the meadow
We had a great 4 day stay in the cabin. The owners provided so many nice features in the cabin - fresh eggs from their chickens, local beer and wine, various food items for our use, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with sundry items. Ken refreshed our wood each day for the fire pit. And a great selection of coffees for the Keureg was included The cabin was very clean and in a beautiful location. Thanks for sharing your property.

Cozy and luxurious cabin
This was a great place to stay! All the little details made it so comfortable. Extra blankets for sitting warmly on the porch, scones, wine/beer, homegrown eggs, mints, coffees, in addition to high-quality hardware and building details, antiques, and many other features show the owners' care and attention to detail. Although it was perfect as is, I might add a small selection of books and cushions on the porch rockers (which fit my xl body perfectly). We sat in those rockers and watched a deer and a flock of turkeys play follow-the-leader. Such a nice place! Thanks for a wonderful getaway.

It was such a great time! I love the property and we were return guests because of how welcomed we felt and all of the extra touches(socks, treats, complimentary drink). Hosts are responsive and extremely accommodating. We will always stay here when visiting Sandpoint. 10/10!
