Great property, spacious, modern and very comfortable.
Well equipped with all mod cons you need. Lots of storage space for clothes in the bedrooms. Great garden for kids who loved playing in it.
Overall a brilliant place that we’d definitely go to again.

Beautiful cottage
Very clean and well equipped. Overall very happy with this accommodation and would happily stay again.
Lights in downstairs bathroom go off too soon when you are in the shower. As there are only Venetian blinds there is some light pollution - not great if you are a light sleeper.

Super House
A lovely house on the edge of the village of Newchurch. Great for large families or friends and ideally located for exploring the island, providing you have a car.
The discounted ferry travel through the Island Holiday Company and their great service was a bonus too.
Our only issue was with the televisions and WiFi. The WiFi wasn't great in the house and unfortunately the televisions currently rely on this. A simple switch to freeview should hopefully get round this problem.

We loved Laurel Cottage
We were three families with four children (age range from 14 months to 13 years) and two dogs.
We think that Laurel Cottage is a super house - great for family gatherings. It is very well-equipped, especially the kitchen/utility room. It is clean, tidy and well-maintained. The garden is lovely (would have been even lovelier if the weather had allowed us to use it!). We found that it was a great base - all we wanted to do was within easy reach. I would thoroughly recommend it and would consider another stay in the future.
The only thing that worried me slightly were the wooden stairs and the potential to slip - not just the elderly(!) but someone coming downstairs carrying a baby for example.

Stunning House for Family Get-together
Stunning house, perfect for our group of 9 adults
Amazing TV in lounge
Great having so many bathrooms!
If you like walking as we do, the walk to Sandown is highly recommended.
House was quite warm would have been good to be able to control temperature other than by opening windows.
Location good and bad. Bad when walking after dark but can’t really improve this. Good as nice and quiet.
