There was also no hot water in the rooms at all, which can be tough after long, active days in the rainforest. The Lake Sandoval tour itself was beautiful and well worth doing, but the meal provided during the tour was quite disappointing. For a $70 experience, we expected more than two very basic sandwiches—one with dry pulled chicken, the other with a small piece of cheese on dry bread—especially after seeing other groups enjoy more complete meals. "
