Amazing service, great food, unique experience! Conveniently planned for you, keeps you busy with interesting and fun excursions but still enough down time to relax. Definitely recommend!
From start to the end it was an experience we needed. We felt like queen and king. Room is super clean and there were no flys in it. It is December but temperature was not hot or cold just perfect. They gave us free organic mosquito repellent oils and free water bottles to keep. There were free water in the room every morning but if you purchase at the restaurant it is 12 seol. Food is free. Breakfast is a simple but healthy and enough. Cheese, salami, olive, tomato, couple fruits and cereal. Lunch and dinner you order from menu and it is yummy. Eco yours included 3 times a day but fishing piranha is an all day tour and 2000 seol per couple. Everyone was super nice and helpful. They made everything perfect for us. I recommend this place it is safe and we saw houling monkeys from our cabin and some birds.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Great property. Lovely location. Quiet.
They really need to get 24 hr electricity and air conditioning.
Also, the food looked amazong but didnt taste good. So definitely need improvement in that aspect. Cocktails were great.
We loved this Inkaterra property! I debated long and hard between this and Reserva Amazonica, in the end I chose this because it's newer and has wifi. The food here is fabulous, especially considering it's location. All the staff went above and beyond with each interaction. The guides are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There is no pressure for tips from any staff. The only "cons" I noted are: our cocktails weren't great, the margaritas were undrinkable (appeared to be a new person in training) and at happy hour (2 for 1) they seemed watered down.
Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. While it is presented as luxury in the rainforest, it has a lot of issues.
Food was not nice. Had to pay for drinks even water. Jorge and Abhner were great staff but rest were pretty bad. Janet as tour guide was great but we didn’t see that much wildlife mainly small insects which we had seen before. Room was not good - hole in the cabana roof led to us being swarmed by insects every day and staff did nothing to help. Cleaners were terrible. Sheets had stains and marks.
We contacted the hotel directly afterwards and were given a terrible reply. This stay was the worst part of our trip.
We had the most amazing experience staying here. Everything runs so smoothly from checkin to the excursions. The staff is so helpful and very friendly. The food is AMAZING!
I cannot fault the entire experience. The rooms and main lodge are so atmospheric, the food was authentic and tasty, the excursions were all interesting and the service was incredible. I was unwell and the staff went above and beyond laying on a special menu and finding me medicine. We had 4 full days and each was unique and educational.
We had the time of our lives here at inkaterra hacienda concepcion. Everyone was very friendly and professional. My animal lover daughter saw a lot of caymans and cute colorful birds during the activities they had arranged. Being a vegetarian i was expecting to not have many options but was pleasantly surprised with the excellent vegetarian meals they had. Everything went smooth and we had a great time. Thank you expedia and inkaterra for giving us awesome memories.
It felt like it was probably one of the comfiest ways to experience the Amazon. Great staff, knowledgeable guides, all transportation taken care of. Would definitely recommend Inkaterra!
Very enjoyable but with significant inconveniences
We had an excellent stay, but with some significant inconveniences. Service was excellent, the food was good (though somewhat repetitive and portions are quite small), and the entire hotel is beautiful. Our guide Pedro was fantastic - friendly and knowledgeable, and we were lucky to see many animals. The main problem is that electricity is only available for some hours of the day. This means that you may return from a hike in the jungle, all sweaty with an outside temperature of over 30 degrees, but the fan will not be working and your room will be as hot as the outside. Also, the rooms are very poorly lit, and with only 2 power outlets you don’t have enough time to charge phones and other electronics before the power goes down. Also, the dining room was short on staff during most dinners so we had to wait for a very long time for our food.
Staff was courteous and extremely helpful. Accommodations were unique and pleasant, in tune with nature and the surroundings. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Food was authentic and well prepared. Wildlife was abundant and tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone spoke English very well.
Unique location
True nature conservation and truely ecofriendly
All the staff are committed and strives for excellence
Truely once in lifetime experience
Property is very beautiful and well kept. Staff are all friendly and courteous, and kitchen staff was accommodating for our vegetarian diet restrictions
What a rewarding experience. The staff at Inkaterra Hacienda Conception was collective in its commitment to our experience, starting with email communication to get transportation details staright. Our jungle excursions were varied, informative, and just plain fun. Food was delicious. The property was well maintained (don’t expect the Ritz-Carlton...this is the rainforest) and really interesting. And the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. If you visit during a hot time of year, you will sweat at just about all hours. But you will also sleep well at night following days of activities that will exhaust you. Just a cool place to visit. Feels like the resort in Dirty Dancing where the staff lived on site, became good friends, and got to know the guests personally. One of a kind place.

Fantastic Experience! Highly Recommend
There's nothing to nitpick here honestly. Everything was taken care of. The staff took great care of everyone and everything ran like clockwork. Food was good, service was great and the tours taught a fair bit about the environment you're living in. I especially liked that some of the food we ate came from the forest itself.
There are two (from what I can see) main types of accommodation - one where the rooms are in the main building, another where you live a short walk away in cabanas (chalet-like huts) surrounded by the forest. Both seem to work out fine it all depends on your preference. We loved our room within the main building where it was easily accessible to meals, meeting points for tours and WiFi.
Electricity is not available for 24hrs but that was a small problem since you're either out for your planned tour or sleeping. I liked that there were doing their part for sustainability. Would highly recommend this place!
We stayed here before starting a 3 week tour of South America. The location, staff, food and rooms were excellent, a great place to stay for a couple of days to get over jet-lag and relax in the evenings, no telephones, no TV - bliss.
It was a truly amazing stay. The location is superb, nature at its best; the staff was excellent, very attentive and detail oriented. The food was outstanding, surprisingly so in such a remote location, but as they use local produce it’s all fresh and tasteful. The guide, Benjamin, was very caring and knowledgable and made the trip extra special. Made sure that I was comfortable and was able to keep pace as I had injured myself on a previous tour. The staff in the restaurant, notably Rodrigo, made the experience also special. The sunrise boat ride was particularly enjoyable. Would return in a heartbeat. Thanks to all.
This is an excellent place to venture out into the Peruvian Amazon. Cool excursions, great guides and all inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner are really good. I can't say enough great things about this place.
We arrived at the Inkaterra Hacienda Conception after hiking the Inca Trail...we were looking for a bit of comfort and relaxation but also some activity and this was the perfect spot for it. The facilities were incredible...well laid out cabanas, hot water, great food and really friendly and outgoing staff. The activities planned for us were interesting and some required a bit of effort but they were a nice wind down after the Inca Trail trek. There are lots of things to see even just on the grounds of the hotel. The daily happy hour (2 for 1 drinks and they have a fairly skilled bartender) is a highlight of the day!
Value for price is high and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Inkaterra!
