"Excellent breakfast and clean room with microwave & refrigerator! Older room but adequate. We were surprised by the breakfast which had lots of options and 24 hour coffee available! Hikers seemed to enjoy this hotel. "

"We were in town for a family wedding in Lake Tahoe. This cabin had everything we needed and then some! We had 3 generations and 8 people in total staying. It was plenty of room for everyone to visit and have their own time when needed. The area is gorgeous. Would love to come back!"

"This was a very comfortable place to spend a few days in a beautiful setting. Weather was warmer than expected, but the house had numerous fans and the temperature dropped quickly at sunset. My wife and I, along with our four adult children and two young grandchildren were all relaxed and happy. Our niece’s wedding was close by, so the location could not have been better. Our host was very quick to reply to any questions. "

"Cozy place out in the woods. Stayed here with my 4 grown adult children and my parents . There’s 1 bedroom on the mail floor and two down stairs. It would have been nice if the other bathroom was downstairs to accommodate those two bedrooms but other than that it was nice "

"The condo was clean and perfect for our family of 4. It was a little out of the way from downtown Truckee and Donner Lake but definitely doable each day. Lots of construction in the area made it a little more difficult to get in and out. No AC which was worrisome with the 90 degree weather but it definitely cooled down at night with the windows open. My only suggestion is to have a binder or sheet with the information on how to use the local amenities and the keycards, etc. we had to drive around and ask people. Also, you need to notify the renters if they have to reserve the Tahoe Donner pool times way in advance. There were none available the week we stayed so we were pretty bummed about that since the pools are why we chose this condo over a different VRBO. We also weren’t aware that it would be $80 a day to use the pools/marina/pickleball, etc. Would just be really nice if that was spelled out in detail ahead of time! Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!"
