Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for 5 people. Peace, quiet (cicada version of quiet!), kangaroo families, fire pit, close to beaches and lake. The solitude of the lakefront was a highlight, just us and the birds and leaping fish. Cabin had everything we needed (just byo linen). Great bush and water experience, highly recommended.

Beautiful stay in the bush

The property was clean and tidy and perfect for a simple weekend away with friends. Lovely little spot and the neighbors were friendly. A short drive to hyams and other beaches. Very happy with our stay and will come back again!

Tranquil retreat

Beautiful location at the edge of the National park, a true bush experience. A short drive to the scenic beaches and shops. We were 6 adults so unfortunately one couple had to sleep on single beds, one of which was a foam mattress and not very comfortable. The house is more suited to 2 couples with children. Communication was confusing and only had standard emails that were sent out to everyone. I sent a question twice about the single beds and got no response. Check in instructions varied from pick keys up from office and then they would be under the mat but they ended up being in the lock box. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay and we loved the outdoor lounge areas.

Relaxed quiet location

Property is really well supplied. Ie enough glasses and plates for no if guests and plenty of extras and little things that make it different from other properties. Nice quiet location with lots of local wildlife.

Nice house crap neighbours

This place was modern clean and well equiped. HOWEVER, when we got there my son was relaxing on the back deck and the neighbours decided that they would have a drink on the back deck. The neighbours quickly left, but then their dog walked in through the house and crapped on the back lawn. We rang them to collect their dog, which they did but offered no apology. BUT they worst incident, was when my son and husband cleaned up the old tennis court so they could play some sought of game when an old elderly man came over and bullied them off the court saying that he had lived there for 40 years and was brother to the owner of the house and that he was "working on the tennis court". He then proceeded to rip up the artifical turf and then pull up tree roots, making the court unusable but then just left it. We rang the real estate agent to clarify what the situation was with the tennis court, who was sympathetic but no real practical help. IN SHORT the locals seem to have resentment that tourists were in an area that they had a sense of entitlement and ownership over...even though we had paid a bucket load of money to rent. There was no respect of our privacy. Would not return there again

Most things were good.

Needs a new gas bottle replaced for hot water system. No explanation inside of this. No code given to us to open fire screens. Had to ring agent to get a code.

Secluded and peaceful

This place suited us perfectly. Located right at the end of a holiday community property we felt like we had space to roam and let the kids go wild. The house is modern and has everything you need, except a cheese grater and a broom that wasn't broken in the middle. Also the gas bottle was empty and we didn't realise until the food was about to go on and we had all had too many drinks to to get a new one! The tennis court is right out the front and the bay is just down the hill. We made great use of the fire pit also. A great stay :)

Very clean and cozy place!

Everything was amazing! Very nature friendly, close to fishing spots and the house is very clean and cozy to stay. If anything, there was no internet/phone reception in the house...
