Beautiful and quiet property

The property was in a lovely location with lots of wildlife at the front door. The house was clean and tidy with enough kitchen items for our group and an open plan living where we could hang out and enjoy.

Very nice stay

Beautiful house in a quiet street. Clean and beautifully decorated. All rooms were furnished nicely and comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked. We spent most of our time sitting around the outdoor table, listening to the wildlife. Only (minor) issue was the sound of the air con unit outside the double bedroom near the front of the house. Could not have the aircon on at night due to this. Not sure if it’s always like this or if there is a problem. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

This was an absolutely beautiful property, very spacious, a lovely quiet location.

I found it difficult to lock front screen door and the back door to patio with the keys provided. I would have liked an improved variety of glassware, i.e. there were no "flutes" to enjoy a glass of champagne/sparkling whites. Well presented.

No wifi or reception

Overall the place was great, clean and accommodation. However there is no wifi provided in the accommodation. Using our mobile phones 4G coverage didn't help as there was almost no reception. You can make phone calls and send text messages but don't get your hopes up if you want to read an article on the internet or watch Netflix.

Considerate and relaxing

This is such a considerate property with everything possibly required being provided in the kitchen. It was clean and well presented and was a great accomodation overall. The phone reception at the location is terrible, so be aware that you may not be able to use phone data either. A great accom for a getaway!

Reviewer Comments: Recently stayed at Iluka for the weekend with a group of work friends.In total there was 8 adults and three children.Before entering the house we where greeted with kangaroos on the front lawn which was a great start.House was very spacious, very clean and there was enough room in the driveway for four vehicles.The backyard was enormous and very private , we sat by the fire pit during the evenings which was great.Within a ten minute drive we where at beautiful huskisson where the beaches are pristine.We also visited jervis bay brewery, husky hotel and the bakery, which where all fantastic.Sunday before we departed we went for a quick stand up paddle board on St George's basin. The water was beautiful and clean and nice and shallow for the children.The location and property made for a great weekend.We will deffinately be back.

Wonderful family home

The perfect home away from home. The family all loved it so much that I believe we'll be back. Wonderful artworks all around the house. The home has a great energy to it, it has an open plan and kids TV area separate from the main living area - which was great for when for when the adults just needed some adult time! Wonderful for entertaining. Its positioned well, shops are 10 minutes drive, very peaceful location only a few minutes walk from the water great for young kids as its shallow water. My little ones loved seeing the local wildlife, everyday they'd see a kangaroo, echidnea, wombat or possum. I couldn't recommend this property more highly - it was exactly what we needed.
