"The staff at Hotel Paris are wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. The good : we were in a nice large, clean room. The reason I took off a star, the noise from the street is substantial so something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper like myself. We only stayed there one night, so I didn’t bother inquiring if an interior, potentially quieter, room was available. This hotel was walkable to the train station and an easy to walk into Florence to see the sights. We did not have the breakfast there so cannot comment on it."

"This hotel is a gem. A quiet retreat with one foot in the Tuscan countryside and yet close enough to the beauty of Florence to almost touch. The shuttle gets you to centre of town in a matter where of minutes but the property is so nice you may not want to leave."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel overall, especially because of its convenient location and the very pleasant and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast offered a great selection, with plenty of choices to start the day. We stayed in a Junior Suite with four adults, and the room was spacious enough to accommodate all of us comfortably, which was a definite plus. There were, however, a couple of disappointments. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We also noticed that the hotel advertises a bottle of sparkling wine daily. Since we stayed for four nights, we expected this amenity to be replenished, but we received only one bottle during our entire stay. After we enjoyed the bottle, it was left in the ice container, where the ice eventually melted, and it was never replenished or removed. Overall, the location, breakfast, spacious suite, and wonderful staff were definite positives. With a little more attention to the comfort of the beds and the follow-through on advertised amenities, this could have been an excellent stay."

"A very well maintained campsite with good amenities and a bustling friendly atmosphere on the whole. The only downside is beyond the control of the campsite and was the bus service into central Florence. Appalling service with infrequent and misleading times. Overall other than the logistics of going to central Florence I would recommend the campsite highly"

"We stayed for 2 nights visiting Florence. Lovely hotel, delux king room was very large with beautiful modern ensuite bathroom. Tea/coffee facilities and large wardrobe in separate dressing room. Nice and quiet hotel in quiet area which was restful after busy days sight seeing. Quite a walk to the tram stop 15 mins but there are buses too. One small recommendation would be have soft music on in the breakfast room as it was too quiet to talk in there openly but besides this very minor point loved our stay."
