"The restaurant the room was attached to was good but it seemed like the owner as an afterthought decided to let out rooms. My room was small and shabby. The bathroom was just as tiny. The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy. "We spent three nights in Castello di Cisterna and it was quite magical. Antonio is a true gentleman and his vision and care of the castello is evident everywhere you look. It really was like stepping back in time but with modern amenities ! To have a fire in our kitchen fireplace on a chilly evening while we made dinner was the perfect way to spend an evening. The view from the grounds is amazing and it is a very relaxing place to be- I only wish it had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool! We can’t wait to go back "
