Our stay was nearly perfect. The room was comfortable and perfectly located. I do wish I had not noticed that the floor was not properly swept (corners of room) but I didn’t think it was a massive problem. They provided complimentary drinks from the room’s mini fridge and the lobby had a pretty cool coffee machine that was available at all hours and was kept very tidy and neat. The location was perfect— very close to beach and plenty of restaurants. Out stay in San Sebastián was amazing and having a great room definitely contributed to our overall experience in this beach town.

This hotel provides you as best they can. Free coffee and tea station, AC, clean linens, staff welcomes you warmly. The only thing I would point out is cleanness especially underneath of the bed, wall and AC UNIT… I saw very dark color and lots of dusts at where air in and out. I am not sure how often they cleaned the AC machine. The location is perfect for tourist, so close to the local market, Tapas bars and other shoppings. Even close to the beach that many locals and tourists go for surfing, sunbathing and chill. I recommend only for those whom don’t mind about what I pointed out.

Lovely little stay!

Such a lovely stay! Great location. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Very nice staff, very helpful. Just cannot beat the location.

Simple and effective central stay

Very good and basic hotel with contactless entry. Couldn't see any drink facilities in the room but I also didn't ask anyone about them . Also very central and near to everything!!! Would stay again

Location is very close to the old town and to the Zurriola Beach. Room was very clean. Unfortunately, the house is currently nested, which clouds the view from the terrace. The room was quite small, unfortunately it is very noisy. We had the misfortune to have 2 English-speaking guests in the next room who talked loudly until 1:00 am and from 6:00 am in the morning. However, this is not the accommodation's fault...

The staff at the front desk was very kind, and when I asked him about our travel plans for the next day, he even checked out transportation options and train schedules for me. It was very helpful. Thank you! The hotel is a little far from the bus terminal and the train station, but it is close to the beach and the old town where there are many bars, so we could enjoy San Sebastian.

Nice Small Hotel, but too Noisy

Overall good, but noise proofing was awful. A coffee area situated directly outside the bedrooms, which people decided to use at midnight. Very often the front desk was unattended, so not great if you had any questions. But if those things don't bother you, then the location is great and rooms are clean and fairly spacious

We had a fabulous stay at Aldamar. We booked the slightly bigger room with a little sitting area & it was fantastic as we had our little boy with us and a pram. The location was excellent a few mins walk to Constitution square and some fabulous pintxos bars. We basically ate our way through San Sebastián. There’s even a great little pintxos bar downstairs from Aldamar. If you’re getting picked up or dropped off by taxi, parking is a little hard all over San Sebastián in general.

Conveniently located guestrooms

Stayed for three nights with family in a junior suite where they set up a twin bed for my daughter in the same room. Room quite cramped due to extra bed but not unexpected in city center. Very convenient location to old town, beach, port, etc with walking to everything. Great coffee machine outside the room. It’s a guest hotel without full hotel type services which is fine for us. There is even elevator for luggage. Air conditioning and shower worked well. Favorite part of window looking out to the street so even when resting in the room, can watch the world go by. Free water and soft drinks in the mini fridge is nice touch.

Nice pension with small rooms and great customer service. Location is ideal to get around the city and a 10-15 minute walk to the bus and train station. The rooms are along a major intersection so there was a lot of late night noise on the street on a Saturday night. Pros: staff and location were really great. Cons: value and size of room.
