"Right off the water. Walk to the marina. My room doors opened directly to a dining table, separated by plants and then the pool. I had no problem leaving the doors open to catch the breeze. The front desk staff was helpful putting together my trip to messina. Breakfast was great, included eggs. And I had dinner one-night which was equally good. A 15 minute walk down "main street" gets you to the ferry marina. Lipari is a very unique town, with many little alleyway restaurants. Totally charming. I walk all these alleys at night and feel totally safe. Enjoy this magical place."

"The best feature of this hotel is the view, overlooking the town and the bay. It's a 10-15 minute walk to town, on a road that is not always safe for pedestrians. Nice ifinity pool. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable but I would expect a 4-star hotel to have a coffee maker and real glasses, not plastic! The wifi connection is very spotty. The staff was friendly and helpful."

The housekeepers also kept opening the windows and letting in mosquitos while i was out, I probably killed 10-15 in my room over the course of 3 days. At one point someone (not sure if it was housekeeping or the general manager) came into my room without knocking, I just happened to be chilling in bed so it wasn't a big deal at the time but imo staff should always knock before entering an occupied room at a hotel. For the price it was worth it, but they need to work on some things for it to be more than a decent budget option."
