"Excellent communication. Nice rooms. However, person staying next door to us had a dog that would randomly bark and after a bit it would finely settle. Bathroom toilet was not cleaned. For just a place to lay our head it did the trick. We would've loved to take advantage of the sitting area outside, but the weather was not going to allow that. We would stay again and hopefully our next stay will be better."

"Quiet, peaceful cabin! The cabin itself seemed more spacious than the pictures showed, plentiful hot water, beautiful views out of every window! The property owner was very helpful and communicative, even offered recommendations for nearby activities! We utilized the fire pit to make smores and had an amazing time. "

"Everything was clean and ready for us as soon as we got there . Judy was amazing and attentive . I was on crutches, but she was super accommodating the entire trip. She was always available whenever we needed something and checked in with us, as well. The property was beautiful and the lake was amazing . Would definitely come back out here !"

"My husband and I came here for a long weekend getaway with our two dogs. We had the absolute best time!! The cabin was lovely and the land was fun to explore and the farm animals were so fun to watch and pet. We went golfing and to the Colorado bend state park, as well as staying at the cabin and enjoying the patio. Lovely place! Beth and Tom are some of the nicest people too. We really hope to come back."

"Very nice. Clean. Easy to find. Beautiful addition and character. Wi-Fi was a bit troublesome but worked. We loved the old original floors and the squeak in the master bedroom. Kitchen was very nice and decorated well. First hot shower had sulfur smell which is not uncommon with electric water heaters and well water that sit sometimes. Subsequent showers it was much better. "The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."
