My favorite part though had to be the longhorns on the property. It was so neat getting to watch them. I definitely will plan to book this property again for a future visit to the area. "

"The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

"I'm calling it quirky. Very cool old hotel with a great bar. Plan on taking awhile to get into a room. Best to come later when the bartender starts. Didn't see any other staff than that while there. Room did match pictures and several dining options close by. We really did appreciate the bartender the first afternoon she really did her best to take care of us. "
