Nowhere in the listing does it state what sort of bed there is other than stating that the "bedroom" has a double bed. The "bed" is the sofa, extended. No extra mattress. "The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

"We had a very late check in after attending a wedding. I had a total of 3 rooms reserved. The front desk assured our reservation was guaranteed and upon our arrival (after midnight) I noticed our paperwork was ready to go. The gentleman at the counter checked us in quickly, which was appreciated at that time of night. I also need extra blankets, and he brought them up to us in minutes. Overall, great experience."
