"I had a good experience, the room was clean, customer service was friendly and helpful. They even let me leave my bags and use their lobby for awhile after I checked out. The breakfast was pretty good and the rooftop area was cool to hangout. Only thing I would complain about was the noise, you can hear Club music late night. But this was expected, it's a busy tourist area. Bring earbuds or just don't come to Colombia if music brothers you lol. Overall I thought it was great value and I look forward to visiting again. "

"The staff was wonderful, hotel is very clean in an excellent location! Everything was walking distance, their breakfast was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to return soon and to recommend some of my clients to go and experience. If there was only one thing I had to say is the terrace view in my room needs a little TLC (more privacy) and and outdoor seating area in the space besides that it was a great experience."

"I was a solo-female traveler staying here and I had a great stay. I felt safe in and around the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. I don't speak much Spanish but a good amount of the staff spoke English which was a bonus! I got an economy room which was perfect for one person. The room was small, but clean. They provide water, gatorade, and beer in the mini fridge, which I appreciated. The free breakfast was nice and filling! The location is perfect-- super very lively, easy to find something fun to do or good to eat. I had a couple of things delivered to the hotel and the staff brought them up to my room which was so kind. The hotel is super cute, but it is not necessarily a luxury spot - just to be transparent; however, this was perfect for just a few days!"

"We had an amazing stay at the InterContinental Cartagena and loved every minute of it. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean, and it’s also very walkable. Just across the street there are tons of shopping options for souvenirs and clothing, along with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The infinity pool was one of our favorite parts of the hotel—so refreshing and absolutely gorgeous with its ocean views. It was the perfect place to unwind. Room service was fantastic, and housekeeping consistently kept our room clean, fresh, and comfortable throughout our stay. We highly recommend the InterContinental Cartagena. It exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back! We even stayed an extra day!"

"El hotel mood Matuna fue excelente. Una vez llegamos el personal fue muy cordial y nos dio toda la información acerca de la estadía. Nos hicieron un upgrade de habitación como cortesía de la casa el cual fue sorprendente porque era temporada alta. El personal habla inglés y español y nos brindaron el desayuno el cual no estaba incluido en la reserva y temprano debido a que teníamos que salir temprano al próximo destino. La habitación muy limpia y grande!."

"The staff at this hotel are really nice and helpful. The ladies at the cafe and the pool bar were very warm and friendly. The girls at the spa were amazing when I got my massage. The maids and cleaners were always smiling and would greet you. Rooms were clean, bathrooms are concrete floors but clean and sanitary. The food at the cafe and pool bar was pretty good and there are other hotels and restaurants within walking distance. You are also a USD $5 cab ride away from El Centro where you can walk easily and safely around to restaurants, cafes, and shops. It’s right across from the beach and a huge Cartagena sign for photos and beach life. Beach across from the hotel is only a 6 out of 10 but I may be a beach snob. There is a beach that you can do a cheap excursion to called El Blanco in Baru. Blue water, jet skis, about a 90 min ride by bus where you see the countryside of Colombia. Highly recommend."
