"This beautiful property set in the Umbrian countryside is the ideal base for exploring the gorgeous hill towns of Umbria. The rooms are large and elegant with balconies overlooking the pool and gardens with beautiful trees in the foreground and villages and churches beyond. "Sandra, the host who manages the property is so friendly and welcoming. There are groups of apartments around a courtyard each with a kitchen. Perfect base for exploring the area, but a car is needed.

"This hotel was beyond our expectations. Our suite was large, comfortable & spotless. The kind front desk lady let us check in early. The breakfast was plentiful & delicious. "This is an immaculate, beautiful and very spacious property, with wonderful character and impressive decor. It is well laid out and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in the upper kitchen and bedroom was effective, while the lower bedroom remained naturally cool and didn’t require it. We especially enjoyed spending time on the patio—it was a lovely spot to relax with tea or a drink in the afternoons and evenings, smell the jasmine and watch the birds wheeling overhead. It is centrally located in the centre of this historic town, and an easy walk to the excellent restaurants and shops of Spoleto. One of the most outstanding meals we had during our entire trip was at Il Tempo del Gusto, which is very close to the property."
