"Gorgeous property!! Would definitely stay again and can’t wait to go back. The private beach is very clean, smooth sand and sea floor- the cabanas are worth the fee and view is unbelievable. The staff was very friendly and the grounds are very well kept. 10/10!!!"

"My stay at Watermark Hotel was honestly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home, special, and completely taken care of. As a solo traveler, that meant everything. A huge shoutout to Tanisha at the front desk — she was AMAZING. She didn’t just check me in, she made sure I had the best experience possible. She gave me real tips on where to go (and where not to go), helped me plan my outings, and even called clubs ahead of time to check dress codes for me. That level of care? Top tier. And then there’s Daniel at the Sky View Bar — wow. He went out of his way to find me homemade empanadas when I couldn’t find them anywhere, and they were SO good. We talked, listened to music, and he made some of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The vibe was unmatched. I also have to talk about my girl Nancy — she was everything. We connected instantly and talked like we’d known each other forever. She kept me company, made me laugh, and truly made me feel like family. As someone traveling alone, that meant more than I can even explain. Every single person I interacted with made my experience special, but these three went above and beyond. I didn’t just stay at a hotel — I felt welcomed, cared for, and genuinely appreciated. I love them all and will definitely be back ❤️"

"Everything was fine until checkout. Despite having informed us multiple times that breakfast was included in our stay (at check-in, and throughout), they proceeded to charge us at check-out knowing we would have little time to contest it before our flight. Finally they agreed to check CCTV / voice recording history but eventually never contacted us again. We reached out again via their website but again radio silence. Watch out for this trap"

"Sunbreeze Suites is a nice cozy beachfront hotel. The location is the best. Walking distance to everything. We rented a gulf cart but only used it to go to secret beach. We walked everywhere else. The hotel was very clean. We had a Oceanview room on the 2nd floor. The room was very spacious with all amenities and a nice size balcony. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room had nice pictures on the wall. Very decorative. No tv in the bedrooms, only in the living room area. The bathroom was beautiful. Nice and roomy with a big walk in shower. Limited counter space around the sink though but its doable. The hotel has a nice little cozy pool. The water was warm. There's one restaurant on-site. Our food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner there. We ate lunch at the nearby restaurants on the beach. There was alot of sargassum the time we was there but we expected that. We definitely will be going back to Sunbreeze Suites. I recommend the hotel. You will not be disappointed. We just got home a few days ago and I'm ready to go back. Thank you Sunbreeze Suites/staff."

"Pros: I'm 69 and was a little hesitant because it also has dormitories but it turned out better than expected. I highly recommend the Sandbar Beachfront Hotel. My private room was clean, had a nice patio with an ocean view. The air conditioning worked great. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was different everyday and always included fresh fruit and a protein. I liked the kitchen arrangement where you can cook your own food and use the refrigerator, microwave, and other appliances. The common sitting area was lovely - ocean view and comfy chairs and tables. There was even a friendly cat for those who like animals! Although I never used the rooftop pool it was a great spot to watch sunrises and just hang out for views. The restaurant is excellent with a nice happy hour and the hotel is located close to shopping, beach, other restaurants, entertainment and snorkeling tours. Cons: The shower was luke-warm but with the weather being so hot it felt good. My room was located above the bar so it was a bit noisy at night but I was well aware when I booked. Ear plugs were provided but I didn't need them since the noise was tolerable for me. I would definatly stay there again when in San Pedro."

"Excellent location! Right next to Ramon’s who really maintains their beach. You still wouldn’t want to swim in it due to the Sargasm but there is no smell like some other places on the island. The units were large (family of 6 and were very comfortable). Very clean and cleaning was done every day. We had an issue with our Bed being too loud and they sent their handyman to fix it for us or offered to change our room free of charge. We took the fix and it was great after that. Pool is perfect for kids. Lots of sun or shade as needed. Excellent spot on the island. Highly recommend."
